“Called Tim Jones to have them look at my roof -- I hadn't had anyone up there in over 10 years. Of course there were issues -- missing and broken tiles, the builder did not run the tiles all the way to the edges, and there was some dry rot on the eaves. Ricardo and his crew came out and spent two days on the job, including installing the Valley Armor system on the valleys. After they were done, Ricardo then made sure I was happy with it. I recommend this company.“

They are a small family-owned and family-run roofing company here in the Sacramento/Placer county area and everyone I interacted with at this company was just a gem.While we hired Jones Family Roofing in 2023, our story goes back to 2017. Recently widowed, my mom saw something she though meant she needed a new roof. She mentioned this to her HVAC serviceman who referred her to Jones Family Roofing.Richard came out to look at my mom's concerns and he assured her that her roof was perfectly fine and should be for another 5-6 years. She was relieved and when she told me this story, I asked her to give me their contact info so I could save it in my phone for anyone else needing roof work done. Richard (or someone else) could have so VERY easily taken advantage of my mother and just agreed that she needed a new roof just to get the work, but Richard was a stand-up guy and his integrity spoke volumes about him, his family, and his company.Fast forward 6 years, sadly my mother passed away and now it was us kids needing to re-roof the home prior to having family move into the house. Jones family came out quickly and provided an extremely competitive quote. It wasn't the lowest quote we received, but the 2017 interaction had scored Jones Roofing MAJOR brownie points with me (and my brothers) so we decided to award them the job.Jean in the office was so sweet and helpful/kind with any and all questions that we had. Our job took place on time and remained on schedule. I went over to check on the crew and spoke with Jean's grandson/Richard's nephew who was on the job (can't remember his name, darn it) and he was super kind and genuine as well. “While it's impossible for me to know whether I will have any roof leaks during the next few years, I have to acknowledge that Clark's Gables Roofing renovation work at my house gives me confidence. Clark knows roofing and his crew was on time, polite and hard working. There were a few items at completion that I knew my wife would notice. Clark and his crew resolved those aesthetics on the spot for me. Clark's estimate beat his competitors by a significant amount, at least for a retired fixed income guy like me. Warranty Response I have an area on my roof above my bedroom that has leaked intermittently over the past 3 years. Two different roofers have attempted to repair without success. I believe the leak is wind driven and thus has been hard to locate. Clark Gables did a roof renovation for me recently that included a warranty covering the entire roof. Although Clark had not worked on that part of the roof, he responded with a visit and investigation. He honored my whole roof warranty by repairing the area around my chimney. He would not accept any tip money from me and said "let's make sure we got it"! This review is to highlight Clark Gable's response to my leak and his warranty protection.“
