“People thought we were crazy for picking our contractor on yelp for a kitchen remodel, however, we could not be happier! The positive yelp reviews are spot on. Not only did Ophir stick to the price quoted, but his attention to detail was excellent. We were initially concerned about getting the work done on time because we had someone else coming in to do floors. It was not an issue; all of the work was completed by the agreed upon timelines. Not only did they keep the timeline, but the completed work was beautiful! Decotal Construction will be our go to for any future renovations. We highly recommended them. We did our kitchen, wet bar, fireplace and linen cabinet.“

“After the torrential rains this past winter it became obvious that I needed to get a re-roof (AKA Lift and Reset) done on my 35yr old tile roof. After researching companies and getting quotes I decided to go with Shelter Roofing and Solar for four main reasons: 1) The salesperson, Vivek, was honest and straightforward - he didn't try to hard sell me and there was no pressure whatsoever 2) The reviews (across platforms) are phenomenal 3) Their quote actually came in lower than all the other quotes and 4) They were able to do the solar detach and reset as part of the job. In addition, I was interested in taking advantage of the SGIP rebates and adding a whole home battery system so I decided to work with them to add a battery system to my home as well.

I can say that from beginning to end everyone on the Shelter team was exceptional. They are professional, timely, down to earth, and honest. They are also willing to drop everything and assist in the event that your battery unexpectedly stops working and needs some TLC (huge thanks to Brandon and Levi for helping me - clutch play). I want to specifically shout out some of the amazing people who helped along the way, specifically: Vivek, Kat, Darshan, Rudy, Lareina, and Colin.

Side note: I am writing this review after my roof and battery are installed and working, however I a still waiting on the final steps of the SGIP rebate system. I will update this review or post a separate review once that is finalized (government stuff is always a bit slow)“

“Writing this review for my Aunt and Grandmother. Before the major rains my aunt and grandma we’re looking for a company to repair/replace a skylight on their mobile home. Other companies had been either exorbitantly expensive or couldn’t come out until summer of ‘24. Kenstruction came out, gave them an estimate and was able to finish the project in a great time! My grandma raved at how polite everyone was and how the site was cleaned each day. She’s 92 and uses a walker, so you can understand how important it is for clean walking areas.
