It has been 4 years since I used Decotal and to this day I am still regretting my decision. We had our entire house rewired, but wiring was does incorrectly. One switch turns off half the lights meanwhile the other half on the same switch don't turn off. Circuits are overloaded and not dispersed enough so when something trips (which is often the half the house goes out. That should not happen with a complete rewire. When the labor working on your house knows more about what is happening on the job than the contractor and he doesn't listen, it's a problem. I'm hoping that in the 4 years that have passed they gotten better looking at their glowing reviews... read full review
I hired this company only 3 years into their existence in 10/2014 to work with my insurance company. Knowing now what I didn't then, I posted a negative review. I was completely honest but it was not well received. I stand by my character to be honest and believe we all have the right to speak our truths. One negative review since the beginning of this company in 2011 out of 18 has no negative influence whatsoever.
People thought we were crazy for picking our contractor on yelp for a kitchen remodel, however, we could not be happier! The positive yelp reviews are spot on. Not only did Ophir stick to the price quoted, but his attention to detail was excellent. We were initially concerned about getting the work done on time because we had someone else coming in to do floors. It was not an issue; all of the work was completed by the agreed upon timelines. Not only did they keep the timeline, but the completed work was beautiful! Decotal Construction will be our go to for any future renovations. We highly recommended them. We did our kitchen, wet bar, fireplace and linen cabinet.
