“First time I went to Balentine Beauty Salon because I was never satisfied with my services from other salon till now. I went to get hair cut and root touch up. I wanted to try somethin else, which really works for me, so I tried Balentine Salon. Hair Cut was nicely done by Lisa and hair color quality was verry good. My hair did not get dry or damaged after coloring. I am very happy with all services I got. Today, I made other appointment to get high lights! Thank you, Lisa

“I just left the salon, and let me tell you, my hair has never looked so amazing! From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by how clean and tranquil the space was, definitely a peaceful oasis. The staff was incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. Kayla was my stylist today, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park! I treated myself to a full color treatment, and the results are stunning. My hair feels like silk, I'm not sure what magic shampoo she used, but it's the softest it's been in ages! “I can confidently say X-Bay Beauty provided the best nail experience I’ve ever had, even under challenging circumstances. Despite being late to my appointment due to ride-share issues, they graciously waited nearly 30 minutes and worked past closing without compromising on quality.

The salon itself is modern, clean, and welcoming, with thoughtful touches like lockers for personal items. While it’s a bit hard to spot due to limited signage, the experience inside more than makes up for it.

Unlike other salons, my nail tech prioritized the health of my nails, carefully grinding off old layers instead of over-soaking or over-filing. Despite my efforts to keep the design simple, they encouraged me to add decor and meticulously ensured every detail was perfect—from cuticles to polish.

Though there was a slight language barrier, they communicated clearly at every step, ensuring we were aligned. The prices are fair, but the exceptional service makes it worth tipping generously.

I’ve never had so many compliments on my nails, and I proudly recommend X-Bay Beauty to everyone who asks. I will probably never go to another nail salon !

“Just recently moved the area of Newark & was calling around to see if any available places could take me to do my toes/nails. I only wanted a simple gel polish on both my toes/nails. Calling around everyone seemed so busy & didn't have any time even on an early morning on a weekday. So I decided to get a hair cut instead, well after getting my hair cut I was walking around a bit. I saw two nail salons, I tried to walk into the first one but the door was locked even though there was an open sign & people being worked on inside. So I made my way to the next salon & sure enough once I walked in & asked if they had any time to do a mani/pedi gel they took me right away & got started. Really cute small little shop, looks like the husband does hair cutting & the wife does the nails. If you're looking for really friendly people & just a simple mani/pedi gel, with a quite & inviting environment this is definitely the place to go. I will for sure be going back to this salon in the future. We all have to remember that every nail shop is different & we shouldn't compare or judge shops to one another! Amazing place“

“I brought my 4 year old daughter for her birthday to get a princess manicure and she was truly treated like royalty! The hours on Google stated they closed at 8pm on Sunday but when I got there at 5:30pm I found out they were only open till 6pm. But despite this, they were gracious enough to take us quickly. They made my daughter feel so comfortable, brought a beautiful crown and ring then gave her a glass of sparkling apple cider. She got to choose her glitter gel polish and start the manicure and even got a glow in the dark top coat. They were very gentle and spoke to her sweetly and let us take pictures. She got to pick a temporary tattoo and take more pics around the store. I would highly recommend royalty nails for young girls princess manicure for the quality of the service and well worth the price, definitely left a pampered princess!“

It’s really quick. I’m someone that gets ingrowns often and Lilian always takes her time and is gently with removing. My go to nail tech’s are Lilian, Kate and Vi.
