“We met Victor when he responded (on a Sunday) to our furnace issue during the Thanksgiving weekend. He got our furnace back on that day. We greatly appreciated his responsiveness and expertise to restore our furnace operation on that cold weekend. Our confidence in Upgrade Home Services (UHS)led to our contracting them to replace our old HVAC system with a new Amana heat pump system. UHS replaced our gas furnace and AC unit on time and on schedule. Unfortunately, we had to call Victor the next day to repair a wiring issue that temporarily halted our system's operation. The good news is that Victor quickly responded to our call that day and repaired the wiring issue. Overall, we rate UHS five stars for Victor's responsiveness and expertise. The only unfavorable comment I have on UHS is their team of installation technicians are not very responsive to any questions during any phase (demo, prep, installation and test) of the installation project. Whenever I hire a contractor to work on my house, I make it a habit to understand what the contractor plans to do before they do it, so that there are no surprises and that I'm okay with any their modifications to my home. However, if you are the type of homeowner that's hand off and is comfortable to let the contractor work on your home without questions or desire to observe; this is probably not an issue for you. But if you are like me, and wants to know the details of what the contractor's plans for your home project; or may want them to answer questions prior to a major installation phase, you may want to address this with Victor prior to contracting them for any home projects.“

“We received heat pump installation from AIS Heating and Air in Dec 2024. The work was done by two people team led by Edgar Rafael. The work was completed professionally and in time manner. They covered the working area by cloth, installed the parts neatly and did clean-up after work. Edgar showed the thermostat function, told me the next steps and answered my questions. The work was passed inspection a week later. I gave 5 star for installation service, 4 star for overall, as total cost is indeed higher than other companies.“

“After waiting more than two days for LG's Service Center to get back to me regarding ETA of their service person to replace the broken drain pump in my washing machine, I decided to call Spark Appliance/Eli late afternoon on Dec 30 to see if there was any hope of getting the repair done before the new year. Eli came the very next day, on New Year's Eve, to save the day and end the year on a good note. The price he quoted on the phone was less than what LG was going to charge and he used an LG OEM pump, not some cheap aftermarket part from Amazon. After an hour or so of work, the machine was as good as new! THANK YOU Eli for coming to our rescue and doing such a great job! I will definitely call him for any other appliance issues.“

“t's a rare pleasure to find a company managed by a highly experienced owner who truly cares about the work they do and has a top notch team to get the job done to the highest level. We installed a state of the art fuel pump system with two zones, both with hospital level HEPA air filtration added for when there is smoke in the air. We have a 1930's home with very small crawl spaces which made this project very complicated. We also didn't want to see any of the typical heat pump units in our house. Artisan needed to run duct work throughout the house. Other highly recommended competitors said "it can't be done". Well, Artisan showed that not only can it be done but they did it seamlessly. Also, the little things, they carefully prepared the house each morning and wore booties and went the extra mile to make sure everything was done at the highest level. They also did all the permitting and paperwork to allow us to claim rebates for the work done which is helping offset the initial cost. They also texted us everything morning to confirm their ETA. In short, they did everything to make this the best possible experience for us. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend Artisan Air Heating and Cooling.“

“If there are more than 5 stars to rate this company, Oliver Heating and Air (Vinnie and Dee team) surely deserves more. 2 weeks ago, before this excessive heat felt all over the Bay Area, specially in Tri-Valley, they were able to replace our AC. The previous estimate and recommendation from another heating company was to replace both the ac/furnace at same time (18 year old units), where with Vinnie's assessment, we only need the AC.
