“I highly recommend David and his community acupuncture clinic. With his expertise, I was able to address my heart palpitations, allergies and insomnia. I appreciate his gentle hand and calm voice when placing needles. With his sliding scale pricing model, I have been able to receive the daily treatments I required to heal my symptoms. What a relief it is to be able to come here and heal rather than going directly to meds, which I won’t be needing now. Thank you, David!“

“Note before the actual review: I haven't completed my entire treatment, done only 4 tension release sessions out of 10 and 9 Moxa sessions out of 30.

I injured my left knee 2 years ago and I ignored to a point where I developed stinging pain and I couldn't bend my knee or walk/stand longer than 10 mins without severe swelling. On top of that my right leg started hurting too as I was putting more pressure on right to manage the left knee pain. After multiple visits to the hospitals and MRI scans, two different Orthos diagnosed very differently. One said I had two 3rd degree Meniscus tears and a couple of 2nd degree tears and need surgery, while other said it comes with age (I'm under 40) and will have to be on painkillers 1200 mg per day. Because of such extreme difference in their diagnosis I didn't take either of their advice and was just dealing with the symptoms.

In June beginning, my friend recommended me to see Dr. Wu. I called him, sent him pictures of my scan, scheduled an initial assessment the next day which I thought would last no more than 30 mins but went over 3 HOURS. Really?? Yes, everything he explained made so much sense. He also did mini Tension release and Moxa and instantly that constant stinging pain disappeared.

I signed up for the full treatment and I'm not even half way through it, but I already feel like a completely different person. I went to Dr. Wu for knee pain as that was more critical, but he unlocked and fixed all my limbs like solving a puzzle one after other which magically healed my other chronic issues (like neck and shoulder pain for over 15 years). It's so surprising when Dr. Wu did tension release on my c-section scar and it fixed part of my neck pain.

Dr. Zou on the other hand saw me may be for 2 minutes and she instantly pointed out 2 facts about me (I eat fast and my body through some trauma during 1st delivery which wasn't a c-section) and how it impacted me and could cause some symptoms which I do have. But I never spoke about those symptoms. How come?? I still don't get it.

Another incident: I have to take a short break from treatment as I'll be out of the state for a month. I texted Dr. Wu saying I'm on road trip and my left knee pain started again and any tips to manage.
His response was that my stomach line was tied up as I might have just ate and shared some massaging techniques via text and a short video and advised me about how they can be avoided.
Trust me, I didn't tell Dr that I just ate. I didn't share any pictures, no video call and he guessed it so right?
Obviously after the massage, instant relief and I'm all fine now.

Above are just few examples during 3 weeks of my engagement with Dr. Wu and Dr. Zou. They are HEALERS. They not only heal your physical pain, they enable you to listen to your body, connect at emotional level, analyze yourself and support you.

I consider being Dr. Wu and Dr. Zou's patient is LUXURY. There's no way in this world you'll get that level of kindness, attention and care.“

“Super talented acupuncturists at this compassionate, holistic, grounded and pragmatic practice. They’ll listen carefully and individualize care for your particular and changing (week over week) needs. Gentle needling technique, and the practitioners here incorporate cupping, gua sha, moxa, acupressure, as appropriate and if you’d like. Have seen many acupuncturists over the years (along with moves), and I keep coming back to this practice (going on 5 years now). Highly rec both Jennifer and Loren. And couldn’t recommend an overall better coordinated practice - you’ll be in great hands!“

For years I have tried many different allergy medications, from claritin, to zyrtec, no allergy medicine has worked for me consistently throughout the day. “Yaping, the owner of Acupuncture of Palo Alto is a miracle worker. I started seeing her for treatment in September of 23 and am now a true fan of the healing that acupuncture can provide. I initially went in for treatment on my shoulder, had a major surgery the previous year and had quite a mass of flesh down to the bone removed and since then my shoulder had ached and hurt. I am an avid outdoorsman and the pain would spike whenever I was active. I was referred to Yaping from a friend and am so glad, because not only has acupuncture healed my shoulder of any discomfort, but I've also continued to go back now for other issue like mental balancing from work stress, but also blood pressure, allergy and breathing problems. Yaping is a true healer and is a wonderful person. She is kind and a great listener and is very in tune to your body. She offers a wide range of options to aid with healing and caters to what you are comfortable with. I would definitely encourage all to try acupuncture if you haven't done so. I'm a fan!“

XL Acupuncture Clinic Acupuncture

“I've been going to XL for over the past couple of years now and he is the most professional, friendly and compassionate acupuncturist that I know of.He was able to diagnose and heal my repeated injuries to my neck after suffering numerous rear end car accidents over the years.Stanford Health prescribed me pain meds and recommended I see a physical therapist.Although, the physical therapist helped me rehabilitate my neck, it was my trip to XL that healed my neck completely. When I came in I still had this clicking sound on my neck whenever I titled it at an angle. After a few sessions, the clicking sound is gone!Went in for a tennis elbow, a frozen shoulder, lower back pain. Gone after multiple sessions.I texted him just recently and had to reschedule my session to earlier in the week because I was experiencing intermittent chest pains and thought it was heart related.Upon talking to him and informing him of my symptoms, he knew exactly where to place the needle in my chest. Exactly where the pain was emanating. What I had was a pinched nerve from overexercising. After a single session, he was able to eliminate the pain.He is such a miracle worker IMO.“
