“MAKE SURE YOU REQUEST A PREVENTATIVE / WELLNESS APPOINTMENT!!! The doctors here are a 10/10! However, if I could give a rating for the people who pick up the phone to schedule you an appointment, I would give 0/10. Three receptionists were the least helpful in helping me schedule a regular doctors visit and OBGYN intent. 1. When I tried to book a regular appointment, they said, " why do you want to see the doctor ?" I said it was because I hadn't gone in a couple of years, they said that I couldn't just book an appointment to see a doctor... and so I asked what were my options and they asked again, why are you seeing the doctor... they told me about "office visit" and I said sure - I was so pissed at this point. They booked me for an "office visit." Turns out: Insurance does not 100% cover "office visit." Cost $186. 2. When I went to the doctor, she wanted me to come back I. 6 months. Different receptionist argued with me that I can't just come back... I told him to read the notes, she requested I come back. He begrudgingly booked me for another "office visit." I went and she told me to go book an appointment with an OBGYN. No referrals needed. Cost $186. 3. Called the OBGYN office... she asked, "why do you need to see the doctor?" And I told her my doctor told me to go to an OBGYN. She said, "you can't just book an appointment." So then I asked, "what are my options?" Yes, there's an annoying and time consuming theme here. She booked me for a "wellness woman's visit." Cost: $0 (covered by insurance because wellness is a preventative visit). The nurse I had was condescending and judgmental, however. doctors = 10/10 Experience on booking an appointment = 0/10“

“Perlman, a UCSD affiliate is an excellent resource when you need to be quickly seen. Next day or same day in person appointments, I was in need for a Physical and TB screening. I was seen by an excellent PA, Meghan Kiely. She had excellent intrapersonal skills and was highly professional and efficient. I recommend Perlman Clinic“

“Doctor Alfredo Quinonez & his wife are the best! Good listener always helpful and have the right medication. As a french lady I went to different dr but nothing is compared to Dr Quinonez his services helped so much during my time in san diego when I had some health issues and as an asthmatic person I needed the right treatments.
I can’t wait to be back to SD this year and visit They have a great team, yes there is a little bit of wait but nothing is too long to wait when we take care of ourselves!“

“I'm so thankful SDVUC was able to see my pup within 3 hrs of me calling them. My dog's paws were blistered and hurt from running on concrete for 45 mins. It was a much more intense procedure than I anticipated. They had to inject him with Morphine otherwise it would have been too painful for him. Bandages come off in 2 days. Fingers crossed everything heals up soon. Doc says it could take up to 10 days.“

“I recently went to AFC urgent care in Chula Vista, it was a bit difficult to find parking but I guess I just went during a busy time of the day, If you can, try to get Luz Aguilar (sorry if I spelled it wrong) during your visit, she was very sweet and professional, answered all my questions and was very patient with me and helped me along the way. I'd come back in the future.“

“I love this clinic! First of all, it's a walk-in clinic so you don't have to make an appointment. I love that, but also I went in there with an injured shoulder to get an X-ray. I really thought it was broken. They could not have been sweeter, more patient, or more gentle with me. At the end of the day, the shoulder was not broken. I have a torn rotator cuff. They did give me a Cortizone shot, but only after I asked for one. My only complaint is that they did not wrap up my shoulder, and they did not offer me the Cortizone shot, I had to ask for it. All in all I would go back there next time I have a similar problem.“

“Very attentive and fast service. Came here because I had hurt my back. I got expert care fast and an xray. Great place to come for Urgent care. I liked that you could leave your phone number and they will text you when to come back. Great service. I waited around 15 minutes with no appointment for a walk in.“

“I went in to urgent care today because I cut the tip of my index finger and the staff was honestly just the best they were amazing, cared for me even boosted up my mood from being worried and scared. They made me laugh and smile, it truly made my day. Shoutout to Yolanda, Leyla, Danial and Alexia for being so sweet and kind to me. You guys are the best, may god bless you all!“

“My 5 stars are for Dr. Papa in the women’s health department, he is awesome and the best doctor, I’ve known him for years since he was my OB with my 1st pregnancy and now with my 2nd one I chose to stay with him because he is the BEST I really recommend him ,the only reason I haven’t switched to a different place it’s because of him, I don’t think I can find a doctor as good as him, my only complaint is the front desk in woman’s health department never answers the phone! But other than that I had to get blood work done in the laboratory and the girl (I forgot her name) waited for me to get it done when she was supposed to go to lunch which was really nice from her.
Also a shout out to Ana Lisa and Trisha with Dr. Papa from women’s health they are really good nurses and always help me with any questions that I have.“
