“This is hands down the best doggy day care and overnight boarding in San Diego. Our 2 rescue pups have come here several times over the last few years, for as long as 6 nights, and every time I’m blown away by the level of care provided.<br><br>One of our dogs is super friendly, while the other is much more shy and still getting used to strangers and other dogs. Our shy dog needs to be with her sister at all times, and isn’t always the best at communicating her feelings - and Dog Days always provides us with thorough updates on how she’s doing and accommodates her little quirks (like needing to be in the small dog area despite being 50 pounds, ha) to make sure she’s doing well & that all the other dogs are comfortable too.<br><br>We’ve also used their transportation drop off service, and there was a hiccup once where our shy dog was having some barrier aggression when getting into the van. Rather than throwing their hands up and asking us to come get her, DD gave her and her sister a PRIVATE ride home - we were obviously a bit mortified but so relieved that DD handled the situation so well for all dogs involved. They gave us a robust rundown of the situation and recommendations for how to handle similar issues in the future.<br><br>And whenever we call to check in as anxious dog parents, they always give us detailed notes on their behavior and health as well. We also love that they have extracurriculars for the dogs, like hiking outings, too!<br><br>Dog Days is truly the most professional level of dog care you can get in San Diego - and while the rates do reflect that, it’s absolutely worth the peace of mind. “Been using Raise the Wuff for close to a year now and still super impressed. They are always on time and do a terrific job. We have a very nervous dog that does not do well around other dogs. Has always been that way ever since he was a pup. We tried so many mobile groomers and were disappointed each time due to lack of professionalism and skill. That is until we found Raise the Wuff. It is so hard these days to find a business that actually understands what customer service means and these guys must have written the book. Their rig is impressive, clean and they do not need to hook up to our water or electricity. And just so you know, I waited to write this review to see how things turned out after a series of appointments and pleased to say the level of service we get time has not diminished one bit. And our dog loves it. What a difference in his attitude when he is groomed by Raise the Wuff. I have never seen anything like it. Used to be after grooms he was subdued but that is not case after a groom with Raise the Wuff. These guys do it right!“

“My dog is beautiful! They took a small, scared, smelly, mutant, and returned a princess! Yeah, I said it, A PRINCESS! I love my dog....sheesh...<br>Kleo was a rescue (call me if you want to hear the story. It involves a man, let's call him Crap, and how he was trying to sell a dying puppy. Theres a prince involved, and he rescued Kleo from sure death at the hands of Crap. “Mo was the first groomer we ever took our mini aussie Achilles to. As Achilles was our first dog Mo really set the standard for us for grooming. While we always appreciated how kind, efficient, and detailed Mo was with Achilles' groom, it wasn't until we moved across the country and had to start looking for and seeing a new groomer we realized how truly above and beyond Mo goes for his clients.<br><br>Everything about The Barking Lot of Hillcrest and Mo is just a cut above the rest. Booking an appointment is easy and efficient online and drop-off and pick-up for the appointment is just as easy. We would drop Achilles off at the time of his appointment and 30 minutes to an hour later Mo would text us letting us know he was ready to be picked up. It was really nice not having to worry about Achilles waiting there for a long time or dealing with pickup and drop-off times hours apart. Once we picked Achilles up, he walked out of there strutting like a new dog looking, smelling, and feeling amazing. He was always given the cutest cut and his nails were so well trimmed.<br><br>We miss The Barking Lot of Hillcrest and Mo so much and could not recommend them more for anyone who is in the San Diego area.“

“I had such a good experience here! My dog Tuna has a double coat, and unfortunately we've had our fair share of experiences where groomers shave her when I ask them not to. Jamie was extremely kind and asked lots of questions, she even texted me to make sure the length was okay while she was grooming! 10/10 experience, will definitely bring Tuna back. I will note that the parking lot is a little tight, but there is street parking if the lot is full!“

“They always say no one takes care of your pets like you do yourself, but the Pupper Club does! My little Zoey loves going here so much for daycare and boarding. While I was on vacation for two weeks I totally felt no worries that Zoey was being well taken care of. She makes so many doggie friends there. But the staff is just the best with her. Zoey loves them.“

“The wife and I use to live in San Diego. We exclusively went to FiFi's Grooming while living there. On a recent vacation to the 619 we had our two male shih tzus with us. Fifii's Grooming was able to squeeze a well needed grooming session for our dogs before heading back home. I don't have a before picture but as you can see the boys were well very well taken care of. Highly recommend FiFi's Grooming.“

“I used Finest City Dog Training (Jessica is AMAZING) for my new puppy. She referred me to Shannon for pet sitting. I had to go out of town for four days, and my Pup was only four months old, I almost canceled…. Until I met Shannon! We had a meet and greet and I could immediately tell she was a very loving dog person! My puppy stayed with her for four days. I received pictures and a report each day, he had a fabulous time! Shannon brought him in to her home and treated him like a part of her family. It was very comforting knowing that he was in good hands while I was so far away, I will definitely use her again and again and again!“

We knew that initially she would be shy/timid but per the staff after about 20 minutes she began to warm up to the rest of the pack. Best of all she was very tired once she got home!
