Barbershop of Napa Valley

I've been here a number of times over the last 5 or 6 years and it was good. The last couple of years I have tried to come and get my hair cut but they are always closed. I am actually here right now Tuesday 4:30pm and the sign is flipped to closed although hours posted on the door says they are open until 5:30pm.

My Dad lives in Sonoma, and has been coming to the Barber Shop for at least two years, and I think longer. I was able to visit him earlier this month for the first time in nearly two years due to Covid. He has Alzheimer's, so it was very important for me to spend time with him. On my last day visiting, I drove him over to this barber shop to get a haircut. I had been with him once, about two years ago, and recognized the same Barbers. (Working in Customer Service myself, that is always a good sign). Anyway, they did a great job cutting his hair and he looked sharp. When I went to pay, the Barber took the payment, but kindly said that my Dad didn't pay enough on his last visit, and still owed $15. You could tell he was uncomfortable, asking, but obviously, he had to. And, I can understand that my Dad didn't realize that he hadn't paid enough, and even if he did, had forgotten quickly. I recognized that this Barber knew that my Dad had Alzheimer's and had extended him the courtesy that only a solid local business would do. Granted, my Dad is a regular customer, but that kind of consideration is rarely given these days. I went next door to get some cash and paid the Gentleman right away with my thanks. Being in a customer driven business and having an elderly parent with Alzheimer's, this truly meant a lot to me. Although I don't live in the area, I will recommend your establishment to anyone seeking a Barber Shop in Napa. My sincerest thanks,

Been coming here for 30 years. Barbers have changed the shop's been painted but it always seems to give quality service. Ben is the absolute go to for a haircut and during these times the haircut will last through the next shelter in place until he can give you another one
