About Kaiser Permanente/ No Emergency Services only Urgent Care.
Kaiser Permanente's Urgent Care prioritizes health and safety, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. They offer various ways to get care while minimizing in-person visits, such as e-visits, phone, video appointments, and email. Members can call for 24/7 assistance with specific health concerns. However, some reviewers noted long wait times at other Kaiser urgent cares, while their experiences in this location were relatively shorter, ranging from an hour to an hour and a half. Staff members are described as helpful, friendly, and working under stressful conditions. The facility is praised for its cleanliness, politeness, and easy navigation. One reviewer mentioned a quick lab check-in line, moving within 7 minutes despite an initial estimate of up to 20 minutes. The lab/pharmacy is preferred over other Kaiser medical offices in the area due to friendly lab technicians, ample parking, EV charging, clean bathrooms, and a small cafe for snacks. However, one reviewer expressed concerns about the lack of time urgent care doctors spent with them, as the doctor was only in the exam room for 30 seconds. This individual has ongoing health issues and feels their concerns were not adequately addressed by the urgent care doctor or nurse advice lines. They continue to use the same prescribed medication, which has not resolved the recurring problem.
It's never fun having to go to the hospital. I dread the thought of how many hours I'll be waiting to be seen when going to urgent care. The last few times I've gone to urgent care, I've been in and out in an hour to hour and a half. I've been to other Kaiser urgent cares in other cities, and those wait times were really long compared to my wait times here. The staff are helpful and friendly, despite having to deal with the mass number of people who come in. They're put under a lot of stress and I really appreciate all they do.
they have a very clean, polite, and easy to navigate facility with amazing people working there. my only complaint is lack of time the urgent care doctors have given that my doctor was in my exam room for no more than 30 second. i have very serious concerns for my well being and neither the Urgent care doctor (the only option at kaiser i can afford with my copay structure) or the nurses advice lines had given me the time of day. and now im sitting at home with the same medication ive been perscribed for years. and it clearly hasnt fixed this reoccurring issue and fear for my life that i have
Don't let the lab checkin line deter you. The line was really long but moved quick. Checked in and was told I would have up to 20min wait to have blood drawn. I was in and out 7 minutes. I prefer this lab/pharmacy over the other kaiser medical offices in my area. The lab techs are friendly and gentle. FYI: *lots of parking including shaded parking spots *EV charging *clean bathrooms *small concession stand type cafe outside of lab (perfect to grab a snack after fasting for lab work)
