Many years ago when YiY was near Wells Fargo on Castro, I regularly went for Restorative and for Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra was taught by Mojdeh. I forgot the name of the Restorative teacher who later relocated to SoCal and the studio stopped offering the class. I really liked those classes, but they are not offered anymore. The current class schedule is filled with classes only very sparsely.

Came here for prenatal classes with Marti Foster. 7pm is a great time for a working expecting mom to unwind and reconnect with her little one! These classes helped me so much during my pregnancy to build strength and stay grounded. And the sense of community with other moms in the class was always a plus. Covid was a bummer in the second half of my pregnancy but the virtual classes were great too! The great news is that Marti is coming back to teach in studio starting June 7th at 7pm- if you're expecting, I highly recommend this class!

Prenatal Yoga with Marti is worth every minute of your time! She is a warm, supportive, and knowledgeable instructor who truly cares about her students. In addition to a welcoming community, Marti prepares you for "the Olympic Event" (giving birth) of your life. From showing you that you can be a fierce pregnant woman to a calm and focused caregiver, Marti can and will show you how. I am truly grateful that a class like this exists and recommend you check out the class that will help prepare you for what is to come.
