    I've always been athletic and have been working out consistently since the age of 15. But recently I got to a point where I really wanted to change things up a bit, and challenge myself. A friend had high praises for Dowling Fitness, so I decided to see what it was all about. Once I shared my goals and how important it was to change things up, Kevin came up with a plan that ended up being exactly what I was looking for. The UFC oriented workout routine was just the "kick in the butt", change of pace that I needed! It was amazing! I highly recommend going with Dowling Fitness. You'll be glad you did!

    I worked with Kevin for a little under three months. Despite this relatively short time, I saw noticeable results from training with him twice a week. My low back had been in bad shape after an injury requiring surgery about a year and a half prior, but after only 1.5 months of training with Kevin, my back was feeling stronger and better than it had in years. It was truly surprising but very motivating to see the positive results and gains, feeling stronger and overall healthier in such a short time. The workouts could certainly be tough, but it felt like Kevin would push me just the right amount to keep me motivated but not overextend. He kept things very casual and each workout felt overall very positive. Kevin started me out pretty slow making sure my low back strengthened before giving me more difficult movements. At first I was admittedly hesitant because I had been actively trying to avoid re-injuring, but wow, just doing the basic exercises in a principled and consistent way really made a difference. Kevin was also flexible and accommodating for schedule changes which really helped make sure I'd keep consistently working out. The only reason I'm no longer working with him, is he unfortunately moved away! But in any case, I'm more motivated and feel great about keeping my routine going myself.

    I started working with Kevin late last year after many years of being out of shape. With age catching up to me, I wanted to get stringer and fitter. Kevin was great in understanding my goals and building a program towards achieving them. He started slow, helped me and my body get accustomed to exercise again. I was never injured or hurt and while he pushed me, never to a point where I might get hurt. I started seeing results in a few months and felt so much more comfortable lifting, squatting and heavy wright's in general. He helped focus on the large muscle groups, and my core strength. And as a bonus his dogs are super cute!
