Loved hanging out here the other day for a bit. It brought back memories of being a kiddo and coming here with my Uncle Terry who liked to fish out here. So many magical times together, boy has it changed over the years, it sure is even more beautiful now.

This town has its attractions that are worth knowing, it is a fishing port, it has wetlands and estuaries, which are home to fauna of high interest and which can be toured with the support of tourist agencies. I spent a short time on its beach and pier area, it has its charm, the Shakespeare house museum, its historical buildings, its streets and views towards the sea are very beautiful. It has a thermoelectric plant that gives it a certain technological and industrial atmosphere.

You can usually buy some sort of fresh seafood every Saturday morning here. Moss Landing is pure California coast, a perfect spot to isolate and decompress. Motel options are two in the town. We've stayed at The Inn at Moss Landing, using it as a launch point for exploration. Kinda different as there's a cemetery across the street. A lot of beach, a working harbor, plus, peace and quiet. We've set up at the KOA campgrounds right here at the entrance to the harbor district. House on wheels is the way to go. Setting up here is easy and cool. You're not going to find a gift shop or convenience stores. 1 gas station, not close.There is a coffee shop right off of 1 nearby and you'll find fresh produce stand. There's Succulent Gardens, our regular destination for succulents and cactus. Not much going on here. Sometimes, we all need a break.
