I have had my hair styled a few different ways here at Elysian Hair Beauty Lounge. Ms Yvette has never disappointed me. 10 to 11 months out the year (I come every 4 weeks) I have my hair done in double strand twists. The remainder of the year I get it pressed & curled.
Ms Yvette is not scissor happy and only trims my ends when it's necessary. She also deep conditions it every couple months. Also, my hair is grey/white and cannot handle alot of product or heat or it will turn yellow.

I took my daughter to get her hair done she felt very comfortable this is a beauty lounge that is beautiful and beautiful women When you walk in you feel very comfortable the tone is set there's no kids running around there are no gossiping ladies talking about you when you walk in you can feel comfortable walking in with your Afro and leave him feeling like a million bucks I'm letting you guys know this place is nice they know they're doing Ms. Yvette and her daughter Monique do hair like.. Very kind and professionalI went in with no idea of what I wanted and when I got there I waited about 2 minutes while she finished another client but the wait was pleasant, it was music playing it was not loud and it was very comfortable.
