I would give 0 stars if possible ! Let me start with the positives the front desk lady with brown hair is very sweet I spoke to her on the phone and at the beginning of my visit for a first time patient. Now, I have very bad eyes which is a known thing to me. I have a lazy eye and stigmatism in both eyes. I work on a computer for a living so I thought I should go in to get an exam and glasses as I feel my eyes are getting worse. Dr. Biana was the one that did my exam. She seemed like she did not know what she was doing, and should not be in business. There every time she switched my lens on the machine it made my vision worse with that being said towards the end, she told me it is pointless for me to get glasses as it will not help my eyes. Wtf?! so I'm just supposed to stay blind and do nothing? She then stated she can give me computer glasses, which is not what I'm looking for. I told her I'm just gonna go get a second opinion after she asked what I wanted and she did not argue that and said OK As she wrote me a prescription anyways which I have no idea how she did considering she only made my eyes worse the front desk ( blond) tried to sell me. I explained the doctor was not able to do anything for me and I will be going else where. Then Biana came to the front and said I should get a second opinion. HORRIBLE BUSINESS. I then went to Walmart. WALMART. And that doctor was very helpful and was able to get me glasses so I am now going to be able to see no thanks to Eyes on LA.
Re-used my frames from a pair I had lost within 2 weeks of getting them, then found over a year later. So old but, brand new frames that only go over the top of the lens. The new lenses did not fit securely. They move when cleaning them and feel like they will pop out with a simple push of the thumb. Using a jeweler’s loupe I could see that the corners do not contact the frames and are filled with some glue-like substance.I took them back the next day and they told me they are perfect. That I had provided old bent frames. I explained that I can see the glue filling the corners and even handed them my jewelers loupe to see for themselves up close. They refused to use...read full review
I was so thankful for find this eye doctor as my previous one recently retired and the doctor who took over his business kept canceling on me. The staff was friendly and accommodating at eyes on LA Optometry and when Liz heard my story she was able to get me an appointment the next day. Dr Ohanian was helpful and efficient. There is a large selection of glasses to choose from and I wasn't rushed or pushed into getting a pair. I really appreciated these ladies going out of their way to help me and make me feel welcome. I look forward to returning in the future.
