“Moving out to the Monterey peninsula left me searching for my new go-to wellness professionals. It was a tough go at first since we relocated post-pandemic and many massage therapists had a rough hand dealt. I poked around on her website and was excited to see how much experience and skill she had from a really diverse background from decades in massage therapy. “Lila is great and she has been caring for my skin (both facials and massages) for a couple years now. When I first moved to the area 5 years ago, I jumped around between some places in Santa Cruz and Monterey looking for a good facial and massage, but struggled. Then one day I came across Ground & Glowing/ Lila and I just felt like she not only cared, but that she understood what I needed, even if I couldn’t express it clearly.

I just wrapped my last facial and massage with her yesterday (sadly, the only reason I won’t be seeing her anymore is that I’m moving!) and she found all the knots and tight places without me having to over explain anything. I’m also having some unusual bumps on my forehead, and she not only gave me a great facial and my skin looks and feels amazing, but she also gave me a small sample to try and then an additional recommendation if it doesn’t clear it up and smooth my skin back out.

I truly could not recommend her more. She’s considerate, kind, professional and you get so much value for the cost (which I think is far better than most in the area). Her space is quiet, inviting and calm. And, if you really want to spoil and care for yourself, there’s an acupuncture place across the parking lot who does great work too.

I feel super comfortable getting the neuromuscular massage to help with various back/hip pain and leave feeling so much better than when I come in. The neuromuscular massage feels more beneficial than a deep pressure massage at a spa as Jacob focuses on one area for a long time until it feels better. Highly recommend!“

“I googled massages near me today as it was a last minute decision being that my neck and shoulders were bothering me. Its also been extremely long since Ive had massage and figured it would relieve some stress.

I came across Oceanway. I called 30 mins before walking in and showed up earlier then I mentioned and JC took me in immediately.

Small cute office, dark private room, the massage was 60 mins, full body, and the best part..... It was only $70!

For the price, I probably had the best massage yet. She spent a little extra time on the areas which were swollen and tense. Didnt feel rushed at all. She took her time.

Needless to say, I think Ive found my go to spot!

We had the pleasure of having Martin as our representative and he went above and beyond; we’ll definitely be back because of how attentive and knowledgeable he was.
