My mom was brought here a couple of times already and the latest was for 5 days back in May (around 3rd week of May). She was given a very warm welcome and proper care from all the staff members including the nurses on this list: Giong, Zhuyan, Stephanie, Alva, Arleen, Claire, Karen, Jihong. Special mention to the director of the 3rd floor west wing: Pinky with Zyliza who both made sure my mom was provided with the right information, care and service. Thank you on behalf of my mom and our whole family. Keep up the great work!
My aunt was well taken care of when she recently stayed in Garfield Medical Hospital. The nurses in the 2nd floor were very professional and helpful. A huge shout out to Gerardo, Kevin, Christy, Lydia, and Marjorie for their patience, kindness, and helpfulness. Also, Matthew and Rananlfo from ER were informative and patience as they constantly check on my aunt and inform her of the next procedure. They make her feel secure under their care. Thank you to Dr. Chen (Hematology) for informing and taking care of her during her stay.
I'm coming back after 4 years with fresher eyes and they've come a long way in the last few years. After a traumatic experience at another hospital in this area, I have to say Garfield is night and day as far as patient care and communication. Although it's easy to get triaged at the ER, it's like pulling teeth to get any information or a transfer when determined an admittance is needed. Things move very slowly and it's definitely very frustrating having to sit there for half the day with little to no progress, especially when a transfer to a patient room is involved. There's one security guard here that's always playing sudoku and she's always so focused it's super hard to get her attention to let me back in.. Although the ER is a painful and slow process, the nurses up at 3West are spectacular and are some very patient individuals. Biggest thank you to QingQing, Wendy, Destiney, and Jackie for taking exceptional care of my mother during her stay and for answering the million questions I had.
