“Went to visit the area (amazing!) and on the recommendation of my friend, I booked an appointment with Leana. I was SO nervous about getting a haircut and my hair is badly damaged from all the color over the years so I was really happy with the care and concern from this stylist who listened to me and offered reassurance. I am very pleased with the results and HIGHLY recommend this stylist (and this salon which is very nice.) The service is excellent, I felt like family! The ambiance of the salon was very comfortable and welcoming: a treat for myself and I am glad I went and trusted her. My hair is much healthier now and Leana gave me tips for care as my hair grows out. I will definitely be back!“

“Always love going to Salt; It's super easy to text Sierra and book appointments quickly without the hassle of the app which is also easy to use but of course she's so customer-focused and responsive she's great at texting; rare in this day & age! Super conscientious about getting back to you & getting you in. I go in for my color which is always great but today booked a quick haircut and she completely accommodated me by letting me leave without the blow-out and discounted it off which is incredibly helpful because I don't need the blow-out (my hair is up all day for work) and it makes it into an affordable luxury which I love. Everyone at the salon is friendly and sociable and you always feel like you're part of the Salt fam. It's a new gem in town and the salon has a unique feel with super modern & clean minimal set-ups which actually make a lot more sense than the tried and true stations that most salons op for; I love their re-imagining of what a salon station should be - it's great. “The shop was recommended to me by my roommate. My hair seemed so dry and decided I wanted a wash and blowout. I ended up having some waxing and getting a special conditioning treatment. Everyone in the shop is helpful and entertaining and knew their business. I will go back again soon and recommend them to others!“

I really messed up trying to do my own roots and made a giant mistake in doing so. I called her pretty last minute, before an important date, and she came in EARLY (8:15am) just to help fix my disaster. Not only that, but she did an AMAZING job. She left no trace of my mistake, and she gave me some rocking bangs, which really elevated my overall look. I was about to go on a first date with a fluorescent, 2 inch wide, skunk stripe down the center of my head.... And she really saved the date (which is tomorrow, wish me luck). “I had them do my hair for the wedding, and it turned out more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. Lisa was my stylist. I did a trial in their back room, which is super cute and newly done. I had my wedding at a venue, and they came to do our hair there on site. Lisa did such an amazing job on my hair, and she even helped me change my hair for the reception. Her assistant helped all my bridesmaids with touchups. The assistant was so willing to help with any style they wanted, as well as just curling or helping put flowers in their hair. I wouldn’t have had anyone else do our hair for our special day. I highly highly recommend!!!“

“Great pedicure. Great Pedicurist. The loud disquieting profanity from the hair salon was NOT great. Stylists complaining about their clients, blasting profanity like we were in a Men's locker room, random friends of people that worked in the salon strolling in like they're not supposed to be there because they knew they weren't. Acting like they don't know how to behave in a salon because they clearly don't. I didn't expect Salon Del Mar to be like the Four Seasons but I didn't think it was going to sound like an underground barbershop after midnight“
