“I decided to call someone to grind down an old stump I had in my yard for the past 30 years. I called JD Tree service because they had good reviews. Jorge came out to give me an estimate, gave me a reasonable price and told me he had time to do it that day because of a cancellation. But he had to go back to his office to get the right equipment to do the job. He came back a while later and started working. He did a great job! And even took all the roots out. I highly recommend JD Tree Service and will use them again. It's so nice to work with an honest and genuine person.“

“Excellent work done promptly and neatly without any serious problems. I strongly recommend these guys. We had a massive ash tree removed from our back yard. It was over 100' tall and had been there for decades, and I hated it because it dropped endless amounts of leaves for months and months. I hired them partly because their estimate beat the other tree companies I contacted. Some were way more expensive than M&M. But I also used them because they made good sense in what they said they could do, particularly in using a very powerful stump removal machine that removed all traces of the stamp. And they were very low pressure in dealing with them. The work was done just a few days after I hired them, it was completed in two days (it was a very large tree), and cleaned up well. I had to ask them to come back and remove some sawdust and wood scraps they had missed, but even that they did promptly. I'd definitely use M&M again.“

Later they trimmed two other large trees, and removed a big one. Throughout all of the work, they carefully protected our property. Branches grew way above our roofline, grew up against the side our house, and through the telephone wires in our alley. After requesting an estimate from Tavite's Tree Service web site at 9am, I immediately got a call back with a same-day one hour appointment time. They called when they were 15 minutes away, met my wife and I at noon and provided a reasonable price. Since they had their truck and equipment, we authorized the job and by 2:30 pm they had completed the tree trimming exactly to our specifications, and cleaned up all debris from their job. They are responsive, very professional and skilled, and accommodated all of our tree trimming requests. Will call them again in the future.“

“These guys were great. Nick and his dad were very nice to deal with, and completely understood my concerns. They definitely care about their business! Michele was great on the phone, and the guys (forgot their names, sorry!) were pleasant, competent, and professional. Not only was the quote very reasonable, they also advised us on suitable replacement trees, ordered the one we chose, and planted it, for again a very reasonable price. The also made sure that some bears breech around the tree was carefully replanted. They climbed and dismantled the pecan, ground the stump below ground level, covered the area with dirt, and left everything looking so much better than when they arrived. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS LIKE THE PLAGUE. Sometimes it's better to pay your little money and know you're not cleaning up someone else's unprofessional, unimaginative, mediocre, stupidly executed "business plan". I'm all for regenerative agriculture but the owner needs to hire a business strategist because that is not his strong suit. Put a pause and go back to school. Preferably the University of Pennsylvania if you can hack it. This is a remedial company probably funded by Daddy just like all the other "unicorn" start-ups and their lack of foresight in addressing the HARM their business are actually doing to citizens and the large community they are functioning in. They're like a dollar store version of uber, lyft, turo and airbnb.“
