such a beautiful shop!!! when i walked in i felt so cozy, unlike at other shops, the rooms here were super private. didn't have a sterile cold feeling to the business. they played really good music the whole time which is a plus! lol. elena is an amazing artist and all the other artists are super kind and come around and compliment eachother during sessions it's super cute. i definitely recommend painted ape. no intimidation here!!! welcome and cozy atmosphere (:

Jacob you are amazing very compassion and your work is amazing. Shop to speak for its self very clean and organize.. will for sure be a repeater if needs arise...and will reference you to my friends. I have been looking for a place to get some more ink done. My regular artist was in Merced and stopped doing ink and started doing body modification. I contacted painted ape and spoke to Vince. Told him exactly what I wanted for one of the tattoos and was unsure about getting sleeved. He came up with some great ideas and he is working on the art right now. I looked at a lot of his work he had photos done and if mine turns out anything like the ones he showed me I will be extremely happy. I'll post a picture of my ink when it's done. So at this point they have five stars
