PLEASE READ !!!! I just moved out here from Las Vegas, and I was in search for a nail salon and a wax salon and I wasn't having any luck I went to European wax and it was awful ! I also had went to 2 other nails salons and I wasn't happy with my nails , coming from Las Vegas it's hard to be satisfied because Vegas is full of entertainers and it's a tourist state so they do a really good job. I had given up and said well I'll just have to settle ... until I came to Ventian Nail Spa !!! I wasn't sure about getting a wax here because I have never had a wax at a nail salon but I'm sooo happy I did it !! MAR was awesome !!! She made sure I was comfortable and she asked if the wax temperature was ok , she also made sure I was satisfied with my Brazilian wax I was just so happy ! She's really really good !!! I was really spoiled in Vegas and I was so depressed but I'm so happy I found my go to spot for nails and wax !!! Iris did my nails and they were perfect she also made sure I was happy with how they were turning out I'm so happy !! I was a bit sad that I couldn't tip them because I didn't have cash on me they do have a ATM . But i only had Apple Pay but next time I will definitely take cash for tip because they truly deserve it !! Please ask for MAR if you get a wax
I had a 75 minute customized facial today and it was wonderful. I’ve had many, many facials over the years and this was truly one of the best. Very relaxing and enjoyable and skin looks noticeably better.

I moved to this salon from the Riverbank GC when Christina did. One million times better! This salon has enough staffing so even when they are busy, the wait is never much. Clear that the ownership is different and actually values the employees. Not all Great Clips are the same. This one is worth the drive from whatever part of town you’re at (especially Riverbank). Check in on the app before you head that way. Christina is the best!

Darrell is a dream come true when it comes to a hair dresser who listens to what you want. Usually what I have in mind is also what he has in mind, so that works out even better. He takes his time and gives a great shampoo and an amazing cut. I recently decided after about ten years of straight hair I would like to get a perm again. I was nervous especially since I did it a few days before an important event. Darrell did fantastic. I could not be happier and I have received so many compliments from everyone. You can definitely trust him to take care of you. I love my perm.

I've been going to International House of Barbers for years now. Che is my barber, but I have also been cut by Fredo. They both get down. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. We talk a lot of smack in there, but that's what makes a good barber shop. If you try them, you won't be disappointed.

I love planet beach in Modesto. I live in Manteca & drive to Modesto weekly for spray tan. I've tried the Manteca Planet beach, but the spray tan was not even close to the tan I get at the Modesto location. I purchased the same tan color with booster in Manteca as I do in Modesto & the tan I get I'm Modesto is WAY better. I asked them at both locations if they use the same product. They both told me it's the same. I'm not sure what the difference is, but they're is an oblivious difference. Anyway, I definitely recommend the Planet Beach in Modesto for anyone looking for a beautiful tan.

She listens and does what you like, if you're not happy she fixes it but I've always been happy w her work and her expertise. She cleans the lashes before and after as well. I like things to be clean especially if going on my face or lashes and everything has been done to my standards. I appreciate that she wears a mask too! I wish I could go more often shes a little far for me but I'm def going back.

Second, her facial is top notch and my skin looks and feels great. I did not mention this to her but the last facial I had was 2 years ago in Las Vegas at a top hotel. Brenda’s facial was 10x better.

The place is such a hidden gym. Ive probably had about 6 to 8 massages there over the years and I only got one I wouldn't recommend again, but I dont think she works there any more and she had great conversation skills. But first and foremost, there isnt a place comparable in Modesto as far as venue is concerned. Its beautiful back there and the only place I can think of that compares in like a sure thing for a massage is Renees day spa. The massages are consistent, the place is beautiful once you get inside and it just conveys essential oil comfort. Also its not overwhelming if youre scent sensitive. I opted for the therapeutic massage rather than swedish and I was not disappointed. Ask for Tate, she is awesome.

I came into my appointment pretty anxious I won't lie (since these were the first tattoos I've ever gotten) but Ken was very helpful with the process and helped me go over everything about tattoos and the aftercare that goes into them. He struck up some good conversation to help the time and pain pass by. The office was also really clean and had a TV so that we could have some background noise or that I could focus on it instead of the pain. Overall it was a really good first time experience over here and I'll definitely be going again in the future.

Toilet was clogged and water would rise up to the bathtub . Called a plumbing service they said they couldn't snake it and the only way to fix it was to install another sewer clean out that's closer to the clogged toilet . They were going to charged me 10x the amount of what Able Drain & Rooter Service charged me. Able Drain & Rooter snaked the clean out and my clogging issue was fix lol
This is the third time I have used these guys. Side note: don't buy a house made in the 80s. My latest issue was a water heater died. Not an old heater, this one was only 4 years old but they came out and navigated the warrenty process and put in 2 different parts the manufactuer said would fix it -- the 2nd on his day off! These guys have been amazing every time I needed them. They are professional and respond quickly, show an attention to detail that is unmatched. Highly recommend!
Had setup an appointment last Tuesday to fix my toilet which was making strange sounds. The associate arrived at a timely manner and fixed it all in less than an hour. This was one of the best experiences with a contractor I have ever had. They did what they said they would. Arrived on time. And went over and above to get everything perfect. I had them install six plugs in my garage, two plugs outside, a two way switch on my bedroom fan/light, and a ceiling fan. Everything was installed perfectly, and they cleaned up after. Great work, fair price, on time, and easy to deal with. What more could you ask for? I will definitely use them again!
Had a problem with my electric panel and outlets that went out. Tried to solve the issues ourselves and wasn't successful! We needed professional help and support right away and they were out with in a few hours and solved the problem and was very personal and helpful with great professional customer service! The folks from J & M Phillips installed solar on the roof of my home. John Phillips and his crew did a great job from start to finish. I had a couple other solar installers quote the work and John's quote was significantly less while quoting a slightly larger system. So far the system has performed well and has the ability for me to monitor its production online and on my phone using an app. The workmanship is terrific! I looked at all of the other solar systems in my neighborhood and see conduit and the inverter on the outside of the house. J & M installed the inverter in the garage so it will stay cool in the summer and dry in the winter. All of the conduit is inside the garage and attic leaving all of the eye sores normally associated with residential solar out of site. All of my concerns and issues were always addressed by John Phillips immediately and professionally. I can call John any time if I have a question about my system and he answers the phone or calls me back quickly. If you live in the central valley and plan to install solar on your property, J & M Phillips Electrical is going to give you a great system for the best price!

I got there just before closing time, and the young gentleman was so kind and told me not to worry. He spent his time explaining the different flooring choices, which makes them each higher or lower than the other. He showed me how to scan the code and upload the floor onto an existing photo of the current room. This gives you an idea of how it will look in your home. He provided samples of the top 3 pics and wrote estimate quotes for each. I was super impressed with his customer service, and I'm so sad that I completely blank on his name. But I did appreciate all his help!

My AC unit kept tripping the fuse in the breaker box and I was super worried. With this hott weather there was no way I could keep my baby inside a 100° house. Oscar and his team, Dario and Joshua, did an amazing job with our exterior house painting project. They worked hard and got our one story stucco home done after we waited out the heatwave that kicked off July.
Our house was overdue for new paint after 10+ years since our diy paint job and we decided to hire professionals to get the job done. After researching painters, Oscar was recommended by a friend - who saw some of his work in a different neighborhood.
From the start, Oscar was attentive, honest, friendly, and accommodating to what we wanted done. We knew what color we wanted for the base color with an idea for the trim and no clue for the door color.
Oscar is very knowledgeable and helped with matching a good trim color and lovely door color that tied everything together. He also offered some ideas to help enhance the look of the house (ie garage door color, color on the stucco popouts) that we took him up on and the overall result looks amazing - like a whole new house! We have security gates and bars and opted for Oscar and his team to paint them as well.
Oscar, Dario, and Joshua arrived early each day and did great work. They were meticulous, courteous, always kept us in the loop, and cleaned up. The care they had for our project really reflected in their work and it was a good overall experience from start to finish. We will definitely hire Oscar and his team again for any painting needs.

Adrian Construction remodeled our kitchen from the ground up in the summer of 2023. The quality of work from day one was fantastic and almost one year later we are still in awe of our new space. We absolutely love it.
We decided to hire Donovan and his team after our initial meeting with them to discuss plans and their course of work. We were immediately ready to sign a contract after Mr. Adrian emphasized how important communication was for his clients and team. True to his word, he contacted us every single day for the entirety of the project to give us a heads up on what to expect for the next and and/or following week. It was so helpful given our already busy lifestyle. We were always given enough time to plan accordingly if we needed to be out of the house for any length of time.
Every person who came into our home was respectful, courteous and friendly. They took care to clean up their work at the end of every work day and arrived on time every morning. It was fun getting to know everyone who worked here.

Great people to work with from start to finish. They did our master bathroom and bedroom fire place and we will have them back to do more work in the near future. The one thing we really liked is that the all the supplies are up to you so if you have a budget in mind it falls on you to stay there. If you have all your supplies work is never delayed. Do appreciate that when you run something by them they will suggest something that looks the same but will save you money. They even told us where to go for our supplies for the best prices. They always showed up on time and did a full days work. Kept their area as clean as they could being an active construction zone. We were there largest bathroom they have ever done and we could not be happier with the outcome.

First, if memory serves, Dr. Topham's practice, which I began seeing in the 1970's begat Dr. Schmidt's Practice, which begat Precision Dentistry. I don't recall the name of the current desist I am seeing, as staff seems to change more frequently than ever. (Note the change from an office with a medical professional's name associated with it, to a generic name.)
Anyway, I recently found myself in need of a return visit for a crown that had come off. As I recall this was at least the second time this ha happened on this tooth as I know I had to cement it back on a time or two when the thing came off before. The "newer" installation didn't hold and came off, requiring another return visit. Then that one came off, which I glued on twice myself using a recommended product.
When I arrived, I indicated the above story to the hygienist, who became defensive and strident, defending the previous actions, she reached a point of agitation that I had to caution her to "dial it down a bit." She seemed to lessen her agitation a bit, and then began to admit that the communication could have been better. At one point she used the term cavity, which was not in the original analysis as I recall it. "Space" or "gap" yes, cavity, no.
In 33 years of teaching middle and high school students, I have never had to tell one to "dial it down." A new experience in a medical/dental office to be sure.
A temporary crown was put on again and a date set to return for the final one. I made it clear that I was soon to leave on a trip to France for 10 days and didn't want the experience ruined by dental issues.
The crown has held, but another tooth's partial fill fell out a few days before the end of the trip. Now I am nursing two places in my dental work and waiting for the end of the month, when was the soonest they could see me.
At the end of the day, I am someone who takes care of his teeth (that's probably why I have all but my wisdom teeth removed in my teens) and am wondering if all of this is coincidence or otherwise.
Oh yes, normally, I get a request to submit a review, sometimes before I get out to my car. It's been nearly a couple of weeks, and didn't get one so I went on Google and posted.
8-7-2024 - Today's cleaning went quite well. I am good for another six months!

I just came by yesterday for a 6 month cleaning/check up. I was introduced to a fairly new hygienist for the first time. She was very thorough and professional. I also met Dr Fields who will be doing further work for me this year. I highly recommend Vintage Dental.

Came to Dr. Fair after months with terrible lower back pain probably from decades of exercise. Dr. Fair suggested I add cryo to the program he laid out for me. Legitimately, after just one physical adjustment and one session of cryo I had lower back pain relief I hand not felt in months!
So far so good. Understandably this will take for me but I have faith in this business. My body is pretty messed up. Staff is super nice and the doctor listens to your needs. They do chiropractic work and also massages. Also you're in and out pretty fast.
Great place I had gone to urgent care they gave me meds for pain and anti inflammatory gel to rub on my knee plus ice the pain. Waited a week no change I went to Dr Early one adjustment on my knee and a little icing on my knee the next day no pain. When he adjusted knee I could feel it go back into place swelling subsided too!

Dr Weimer is a fantastic Chiropractor. I went this afternoon for bulging disc in my back and the the other on my right side of my neck was hurting for months. My T3 and T4 were inflamed and he was able to get that spot worked out today. I haven’t felt so relieved like that in a while. The T3 and T 4 was making my back super stiff. I was in very bad pain for a couple of weeks and couldn’t sleep at all maybe 4 hours a night. Dr Weimer had to adjust me against the wall to loosen my back up that’s how bad and tight my shoulders were. I like Dr Weimer’s style because he doesn’t force his adjustments he knows what he’s doing for sure. Thank you. ??
I saw dr. Tawfik Saleh in his office in Hayward and now I go to Modesto for my biweekly acupuncture and chiropractic visits. I like him and his staff because they listen and help me every time I go there. I love his new office in coffee road. It is very relaxing

I have used this vet twice, and received fantastic service from caring staff and really well skilled vets.
When the lab the blood test was sent to for my mare's Coggins test lost the sample, the vet came an hour drive to my house to redraw the blood that day for no charge. I had the results back in less than 24 hours so our trip went on as planned.
When I brought my beloved horse, whom I had for 25 years, for his final rest, I was given the most compassion that I have EVER had at a vet hospital. Over the last 50+ years of owning horses and doing a lot of rescue, I have never had such compassion from a vet and staff. This is absolutely the best equine vet in the Central Valley, hands down.
I liked the customer service and how they treated my pet. They also serve in English or Spanish and of course a lot of parking.
The only veterinary office I will take my pets to. Dr. Kahler is a great vet, very knowledgeable and personable. I had to say good bye to my ferret a couple years ago and he was right there with me almost crying along. He cares for your pet as much as you do. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming. The rescue I foster dogs through needed a good value spay/neuter clinic so that we could stay within budget for our rescue dogs. This place was perfect for it! The pricing is very straightforward, drop-off and pick-up are well organized, and the staff were very nice despite the high volume. My current foster dog healed up very nicely without any issues and the sutures looked professionally done. We will absolutely bring future foster dogs here!
I can't say enough about this veterinarian hospital, I have 46 cats and I trust them with all of them. They are the best. I would give them a 100 stars if I could. They are gentle caring compassionate. They go above and beyond other duties. And what is expected of them? They treat all of my animals like they are their own.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Mike and Dr. Chad for many years. You cannot find better doctors in the area. There are so many reasons why I’m giving them this rating. The staff is wonderful, communications are excellent, they do what they say they are going to do, and you don’t wait for hours and hours to see them. You won’t find better fees. I would almost keep this rating to myself so that I can get appointments without competing with you. However, they are just so good that they deserve a 10 out of 5. Consider yourself lucky that I’m sharing this with you. I love my veterinarians.
Almost a year ago my dog suffered what was diagnosed as a type of stroke. I only ended up at sisk because it was the closest to my home in my emergency. That being said, the entire staff was beyond empathetic, understanding, making what I was thinking would be my dogs last day. Thankfully he slowly came out of it and has made almost a full recovery. The Dr. was extremely explanatory in options and continued care. For this reason, I will be taking him back for an ear issue he's continued to have that the seemingly "top clinic" in Escalon couldn't seem to get a handle on.
I love this clinic. They care about your babies well being, and is actually much easier on the pocket compared to other vets I have been to. Staff is super friendly and caring. Plus, I was in and out each time I went. I will continue to bring my children here for future care. Thank you.

Lisa grooms my 14 year old yorkie and this morning I called about some matted hair on my Mainecoon cat and she said bring him in now because it was quiet. Fanci is an incredible massage therapist. She communicates effectively and is extremely professional. I felt at ease almost immediately. Her space is charming and inviting but more importantly it is clean. I had never been on such a comfy, squishy massage table before with the huge bonus of having a heated option! I did the stretching combo with her and she took the time to give me resources for moves I can do at home to help ease my problem areas. Hands down, she gave me the best massage I have ever had. I feel lucky to have found her!
I had an amazing 30 minute foot massage 2 days ago--I didn't get her name but she was awesome. She made sure the pressure was okay and it was very relaxing. I was very happy. My husband and I came for a massage. Their massage technique is very good. After massage, my body is relaxed. My back and waist are very sour. I pressed it twice, but I didn't feel this way. The massage was really comfortable as both my wife and I were sitting at work every day, this is a recommended massage shop for a reasonable price.

Great doctor! However, I have been seeing him for 4 years now and he has maybe ran on time 2% of the time. 98% of the time he runs 20-40min late. My time is valuable but so is my face which is why I keep going back. Most of the staff is friendly.
I’m so glad I went with J&R trucking school to get my CDL A. The staff and instructors are so nice and really care. The instructors give you individual attention and work with you every step of the way. They make the course easy to understand and their system makes it easy to remember everything you need to know for your big day at the DMV as well what you’re going to use though out your driving career. The Equipment is some of the best that I’ve seen compared to the other schools I’ve seen driving around Modesto. I highly recommend J&R trucking school if you’re looking to be a commercial driver. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with WPTS Modesto Campus. I did a four week day time class. The instructors were extremely supportive and knowledgeable and they set me up for success every step of the way. The first week in the classroom was a good learning environment and I received all of the knowledge needed to pass my permit tests first try. I also received training for my license endorsements. The three weeks in the “field” were a little intimidating at first but the instructor’s knowledge and experience gave me all of the information and training needed to pass my CDL drive test the first try as well. I was impressed with WPTS from day one all the way through the day I received my Class A license from the DMV. Yes you may find a cheaper school in the area but they are cheaper for a reason. Invest in your future and choose Wester Pacific Truck School. If you apply your self and take it seriously there is no doubt that anyone can be successful with the training provided there.
