My son started attending Nova Star in the early summer of 2020. He absolutely LOVES attendings all his classes at Nova Star with Sensi Doug! For anyone looking to join a Martial Arts studio in Orange County, I highly recommend this studio!
Our son has been attending classes here for 6 months and he loves it! He has made good friends here and I really enjoy the other families that bring their kids here. The classes are smaller and intimate and the students get personalized attention. The classes are fun and constructive. I appreciate the structure that the classes bring to our routine.
Sensei Doug is great with the kids! Very professional and demands respect for him and others but is realistic as to what to expect from each age group. Inexpensive compared to other studios we've looked into and no long contracts. The kids also learn how to properly use weapons they earn and have fun events throughout the year. Plus, plus plus! I highly recommend this karate studio.
