“Dr. Gorgi - Best Doctor for spinal surgery... I took my dog in for an emergency visit to have looked at when he woke one day unable to walk. I called and drove a long distance to get there and I was received quicky upon arrival. Someone came to get my dog immediately, and I was put into a room. My dog was looked at by Dr. Righter who recommended that my dog stay for x-rays, bloodwork and a urinalysis. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is for the cost, but the care was top notch. The cost of any test done was extremely expensive, that piece is notable. I will say however that the staff was kind, calm and caring every time I called and most of the times I was emotional, and I never felt judged when I called and wanted updates. The staff never made me feel like I was bothering them and I called a lot. My dog needed an MRI and a spinal tap, more very expensive tests. My dog was a candidate for spinal surgery and Dr. Gorgi performed the surgery, which was also very expensive. In the end, I am grateful because the surgery was a success and my dog is now peeing on his own and able to walk. He is still recovering, so not 100% but I am pleased with his progress thus far. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. This is expensive medical care, however, my dog is my world, so I will be paying on the credit card for a long time which was what I used to pay for my dogs hospitalization. If I had to do it all again, I would still choose the path that I chose due to the brilliance of the doctors, technicians and staff contributing to my fur baby's recovery. I would still choose BrightCare. I am indebted to Dr. Gorgi for his amazing surgical skills to allow my precious boy to walk again. The hospital also sent me photo updates daily, some days morning and night which helped while my dog was gone for 12 long days in the hospital. Thank you to BrightCare and staff, technicians, and especially to Dr. Righter and Dr. Gorgi for your loving care and attention to my precious Louie. God Bless you all.“

“Never in 2 million years would I ever have thought my kid (who has had so many sleep issues) would sleep with all this gear on... but this is one of the most important parts of the process for him... to check for seizures while he sleeps, and to see what his sleep cycle really looks like and how that’s affecting his brain activity. There’s a lot more to what an EEG can show you outside of just seizure activity... so, it’s an incredible tool for specialists to utilize in order to really pin down what might be creating hurdles, treatable challenges, or dangers for long term damage... but with this kid the biggest hurdle today was just getting him to agree to keep all this on, and not have a severe panic attack when he realized this wasn’t coming off about 30 minutes into the ride back to our hotel room. Sooooo... all that is to say, it’s almost 2021, and we made it! We got the kiddo to comply all day, in all the gear (which was portable and we could simply let him wear it back to our hotel room to hang out and play), and then he kept it all on to go to bed... with just a little protesting. My heart could burst watching him sleep with these wires and chords taped to his head, with a backpack carrying the device next to him, and a camera monitoring his physical hallmarks. I just couldn’t be more proud, or relieved. We have one more big trip for treatment coming up at the end of the month, and then this kiddo (me, & Todd) will get some much needed rest and down time. ❤️ So grateful to be starting a new year out on the right foot! And so grateful for EEG to Go for making this process so much less traumatic for our whole family!“
