Joy is an incredibly skilled and competent craniosacral and somatic therapist, but she is also so much more. Her practice is sincerely holistic as she works with body, mind and spirit in the myriad of ways those 3 intermingle and co-exist as interdependencies. Joy is also the most wonderful support person when you want to make positive change in your life. She actively supports your journey. She is not only completely kind and caring, but also deeply compassionate and non-judgmental. It is safe to be all of who you are with her!

Customized therapy. Collaborative healing. Joy takes considerable effort to customize her massage therapy to my needs on a particular day. One of her strengths is that she brings several types of therapy to her practice. This means that she can address my needs with one or more types of massage therapy in order to achieve my goals. Another aspect of Joy's therapy is that she also recommends other treatments and practices that she thinks will help further my progress on my healing journey, and encompass all aspects of myself: body, mind, and spirit/soul. I recommend Joy Smith not only for the experience of feeling good during and after specific massage treatments, but also for the added benefits of long-term healing when followed by a consistent massage therapy treatment plan over time.

My horse had rolled over me in 2005 and left me with some bad injuries. I had my first treatment with Joy four years after the injuries occurred. She treated me after many other chiropractors had worked on me and she managed to keep me out of pain for many years after her treatment.
I had been going for several years with many highly qualified chiropractors who were afraid to go deep or just wanted me to return over and over again with slight results.
I am glad to have Joy's massage results that proved better than the chiropractic care I had paid thousands of dollars a year to have no changes. I did have relief from the chronic pain after just one visit with Joy....read full review
