Pacific Coast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

My daughter had to get all 4 of her wisdom teeth taken out and we were able to get a last minute appt. before she headed out of state to college. Pacific Coast OMS was one of the two oral surgeons recommended by my dentist (the other office wouldn't extract the upper wisdom teeth because they needed 5 weeks post op recovery time before flying on a plane and Pacific Coast OMS was ok with 2 weeks post op recovery time). Dr. Odono is very approachable, knowledgeable and was a first rate oral surgeon! The consultation and the actual extraction occurred on the same day (which I thought was odd; it was explained to me that if my daughter needed general anesthesia (put to sleep), the surgery was done the same day as the consultation but if there was local anesthesia, then the surgery can be done on a different day from the consultation). We went with the general anesthesia (about 90% of patients opt for this). The consultation lasted 15 min, then the entire extraction procedure took about 40 min. Payment is due in full after co-payment from dental coverage was taken into account. They gave us detailed instructions for after care. The assistant then wheeled my daughter downstairs while I went to get the car. First rate experience; would recommend Pacific OMS for all of your wisdom teeth extraction needs!

Phenomenal work. I dreaded taking out my wisdom teeth and waited till the last second where the pain was too much to keep them. I had extreme anxiety with this but the front desk lady is amazing. Told her my situation, and she moved things around for me to go in the next day in the am. She is amazing. The doctor is extremely open to your questions and assures you how much of a breeze it is. They put me to sleep in 30 seconds and 1hr later I was out the door. Woke up feeling really good from all the anesthesia, and came home with meds and instructions. Absolutely great staff!! I have been putting off this wisdom teeth removal for quite a while but I really had to go through it. I was very nervous on the day of the procedure but Dr. Kim assured me that I will be okay. I felt at ease and calmed down and he proceeded with the surgery. I probably would of walked out if he wasn't that caring and compassionate. Thank you Pacific Coast! I would definitely inform my family about you! The best!!
