I've been looking for an optometrist who would take the time to really address my needs. It has been a frustrating search, but then I found Dr. Tang. We talked. She listened to me. She explained everything, so I understood. We even laughed a couple of times. I highly recommend her. Dr. Tang is GREAT!
I have always had great experiences with Dr. Smythe-Medina, and today I had my first appointment with Dr. Tang. She did a very thorough and competent assessment of my situation, so I am happy there. HOWEVER, the booking of appointments has turned into a nightmare since North Valley joined with Azul. I have a chronic eye condition which the ophthalmologist has requested I immediately be seen when it flares up. The first two call center agents wanted to give me an appointment a month from now which would be bad for my situation. The appointment with Dr. Tang went very well. I was able to change my method of check-in from text to e-mail without issue upon checking in with the front desk. The only real glitch to the appointment was that I wanted to pick up my glasses & the optometry department was closed today, so I have to make a trip back there.
