I have dealt with San Fernando Mission Cemetery and Mortuary many times. It would be a mistake to approach this cemetery thinking that it is a competitive business. It is an extension of the Archdiocese and is managed in the same fashion. Which means, in person, is always better than over the phone. Also, it's best to do some homework/research before you or your loved one dies. Learn about pricing and options in advance. That really helps. You can also prepay for your funeral to save your loved ones from the burden. They use Batesville caskets. You can visit the Batesville website to do some casket research.
