“This is my first time going to Luxe after searching for months for a new salon. I booked the appt with Amy, who was very friendly, professional and gave me great recommendation on a suitable hairstyle. She gave me an amazing cut and style, I was very very happy. The shampoo experience was the best I have had in a very long time with the unselfish amount of massage and scrub. It was such a great experience, I already booked several appointments for shampoo and blow out sessions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON AND AMY.“
“Glossed Studio gained a fan/regular today. I came to get my hair toned (original color job was done somewhere else) because my blonde was getting pretty brassy and my dark roots were growing out and looked very stark against the blonde. Chelsea did my hair and she was amazing. She took her time and styled my hair afterwards. She was great to talk to as well! She gave me lots of tips on maintaining my color and hair health. It was also way more affordable than places I've been in the past all over South Bay. I will come back again and again!“
“When I first moved to the Bay Area, I started seeing Erna for hair cuts and color, and I’ve been seeing her ever since! She provides quality cuts and color—great attention to detail. Whenever I have a balayage or babylights done, even the grow out looks good! Erna is also always willing to answer any questions I have about the process. “Lien obviously loves her profession, and she's really good at it! I've used her twice now. She's not cheap, but she does take her time on makeup. She's not only good at it, but she's a perfectionist and wants things just right. She listens to what you want, and can also make suggestions. I will share that last time she accepted a client to see after me while I was in the chair, and we ended up rushing my hair...I felt nervous and was worried my hair would look rushed. It was rushed, but it turned out ok in the end. Luckily, I have short hair that didn't need much time. Also, both times I've seen her, we've estimated two hours, but have taken longer (she wants to get the makeup perfect!), so perhaps don't schedule right up against your event in case she runs long. Overall, I recommend her and will go back!“
“My boyfriend and I have been getting our hair cut with Joel for the past 4+ years. He is hands down the best hair dresser who's cut both of our hair. I have long thick Asian hair and my boyfriend has curly hair. He is super diligent and takes his time so we are always satisfied when we leave. “She does a good job, but instead of just being upfront and saying she didn't want to do my hair because of the fact it's too hard because I am in a wheelchair. Instead when I called to see when she was available, sne tried to get mad.... I guess so she could justify blocking me when I went on the app to schedule a appointment ...But its fine.But I am mad because she would do a treatment to my hair I THINK called a SCALP FACIAL or something like that, I used to get it, every everytime i went they grew my hair alot. I MISS THOSE TREATMENTS.“

“I had been flying up to Seattle to get my hair done every 2-3 months for more than 4 years before finding Ashley. I couldn't find anyone in the Bay Area who could highlight my hair and reset my extensions in under six hours without absolutely breaking the bank. I am happy to report the trips to Seattle are over thanks to Ashley. She does beautiful and efficient work at what I feel is a reasonable cost. I recently decided to transition back to my natural hair color after over fifteen years of bleaching it. I was very hesitant and asked a million questions, but Ashely did an absolutely incredible job and seamlessly matched my extensions to my new, darker color. Definitely deserving of 5 stars!“

“Tami's was a word-of-mouth recommendation from a friend, and I couldn't have picked a better salon out myself! I have been 3 times for a bleach, a color and hot oil treatment. First, I talked with Jessica to bleach the natural color, then color the hair teal/ blue tint and post dye go in for a hot oil application. The time that we planned for the application and treatment went smoothly and no pressure. While bleaching the color natural color, it was nice to see my hair blonde/yellow because I feel like so confidant with that color of hair. The dying of the yellow to blue/ teal was little messy, yet no complaints. Jessica did and amazing job explaining the steps to bleach out the natural color, and also dying the hair to blue teal-ish color was safe and felt like the job was done and satisfying!Enso forever.Bleach, teal and hot oil treatment = $145 plus $30 tips. “Sheila is amazing. She really understands curly hair in all its variations and challenges. I have fine very curly hair that tends to grow slowly and she is the only stylist I have found in this entire metro area who has the skills to make it look great. For all of us, even non-curly girls, she understands how your hair grows and how it works with your head shape and face and will leave you with a cut that works.And if this isn't enough, her salon is organic and only uses and features safe, organic products, from makeup to shampoo and conditioner to hair color. As I've started to consider hair color, I've realized how important this is to me. There's no way I'd want to come in every 4-6 weeks to have something harmful or toxic put onto my scalp.And I can't leave this review without saying that Sheila is a warm, caring and smart person. “My usual stylist wasn't available this week so I decided to call this new salon under new management and give them a try. They took my request for an appointment on Wednesday 1/24 and answered all of my questions. I got a trim and thin for $35 plus a $5 tip. I like how they use an iPad so I could use my card to pay and tip at the same time. Thank you!“
