As I was brushing my teeth one morning, half my face became paralyzed. I immediately video chatted with my doctor and the diagnosis was bells palsy. I was prescribed antibiotics and steroids and told some recover in 2 weeks and some in 6 months. Paralysis means I cannot close my eye. In the morning I use eye drops and at night I tape it shut. I drool out of one corner of my mouth and cannot chew or enunciate words properly. Going into week 3, not only have I not improved at all, I had significant blurred vision in my eye for 2 weeks.
