I went in and had Chris cut my hair on recommendation from a friend. I do not regret it at all. I have a beard and am balding (no shame). Also I have not had a professional haircut in almost 16 years. Chris did a fantastic job. He took the reins and gave me a great haircut, with style. He styled my beard including a hot towel and straight razor cut.

I will be going back.

Visiting from out of town, and a few weeks behind my usual schedule, I really needed a good haircut. Christian delivered exactly what I needed and asked for, and gave me a great old-time shave to boot. Highly recommended!

Go see Laya if you want a great cut and experience!!! I am a following customer from a previous barbershop where I started getting my haircut by Laya. Unfortunately when she left I tried other barbers at that location and other barbershops around Marin... no one compares to Laya! She is always friendly, takes the time to learn about her client and learns how they want their hair cut, and most importantly she is a VERY skilled barber. I have particularly challenging hair to cut... it is stick straight and has a mind of its own which requires some special attention and a skilled hand to be shaped how I like...
