Been here more time than I can remember and I love it. Rarely other customers and even if I do have to, the wait is always reasonable. I don't bother making reservations, but one can, certainly. I just get a basic haircut ($25) always, and it never takes long. Exactly what I want and it's a couple of blocks from my house and very conveniently located in-between Jiffy Lube/Whole Foods and downtown MV, as I like to take the care to J.L. then get a haircut, or go downtown for something (like Peets!), and I've taken care of a lot of errands! I love this place, no pretense, no nonsense, just an awesome haircut at a reasonable price!

Would give them 100 stars if possible. I was hesitant about cutting my hair because I had been growing it out for so long, but finally worked up the courage to get a trim. She recommended I cut it short, so I took her advice and I'm in love. She knew exactly what to do and I'm definitely going to be getting my hair cut here from now on. On top of it all, when I realized they only took cash/checks and I didn't have any on me, she trusted me to go home and come back. Left a $40 tip on a $20 haircut. Amazing haircut, amazing service, cheap.

My husband has been getting his hair cut by Mai at Hair-N-Joy for years, and she gives the best haircut, all for $20. She works quickly, does walk-Ins, and there is free street parking just outside her shop, She does men, women & children's hair. She works by herself, or with one assistant, in a large clean salon located at 310 Miller Ave in Mill Valley, located a few blocks north of the Miller Avenue Whole Foods. We highly recommend her!
