From the moment I stepped into this spa-like salon, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance is a perfect mix of sophistication and coziness, complete with thoughtful touches like pink slippers to replace your shoes and an adorable coffee bar setup. Kiara, my lash technician, was incredible. She took the time to thoroughly understand how I wanted my lashes to look and feel, walking me through all the different lash styles, lengths, and textures. I loved the 1-page guide they use--it made the whole process so clear and easy to visualize. When I woke up after my session, I had exactly the lashes I had envisioned. As someone who's been getting lash extensions for the past 10 years, I can confidently say this was the best ambiance and service I've ever experienced. A huge thank you to Kiara and the entire team at Chic Lash Boutique--I'll definitely be back!
My wife and I had the most amazing 60 minutes couples massage today. We've had a lot of great massages over the years, including some amazing ones on our trip to Thailand a few years ago. The massage we got today rivals any of those. First, the spa is really beautiful. It's in easy to get to location in Mill Valley, and a nice sitting room while you wait for the masseuses. The room where we had our massages was really nice with serene, with calming colors, relaxing spa music, and comfortable mats for the massages. The entire spa was super clean in all areas. I had Ellie as my masseuse and my wife had Sirinporn (owner of the spa). The massages themselves were outstanding. We had both asked for firm pressure, and both Ellie and Sirinporn delivered. My wife and I both love traditional Thai massages, and it was clear from what we received today that our masseuses had being performing massages for years. They both also kept asking for feedback (how is the pressure, etc), which my wife and I love to maximize the enjoyment of our massages. We plan to go back in the near future (and on a regular basis), and we would highly recommend Naka Thai Massage and Spa to others!
Rejuvative Therapy is UH-MAZING!!! The cyroshock therapy WORKS WONDERS with a bit of attention to diet and exercise, which is great for us all around anyhow! But, it absolutely, works on reducing stubborn fat!!! And, Elizabeth at Rejuvative is such a positive ball of energy and so lovely to work with!!!

Dr. Zamorano has help me so much when my previous doctor wasn’t sure what do do for me. One thing I like about her the most is that she listens to me and we work together on treatment plans after discussing options. My husband and I worked with Evan-Marie for our intimate wedding in Boonville, CA. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful it was to work with her. She took the time to understand what we were looking for, and captured our day amazingly. The energy and calmness that Evan brought to our wedding, especially being so small, really set the tone and helped us stay present on our day. Because I'm an artist, I do a fair amount of shipping through this store. I have found the service here to be crisp and efficient by the two brothers who now own the store and their various employees. I don't know the exact date but probably around early 2021 these guys bought the business from the previous owner who was the WORST management on the PLANET. Thus, the 3.2-star rating here is undeserved, so please disregard old one-star reviews, which were for the previous management. (Unfortunately, after a change of ownership it is not easy to get Yelp to revise their star rating.)

We just had Hector from Bay Area Stone work on our front stairs in Westlake Daly City and I am so thrilled at the job that he did. He restored them and sealed them, and redid all the caulk to match the house! He was incredible. We got a reference from a neighbor about this company and I can't say enough about how great they are! After Cheryl showed me some specific exercises to do on the Cadillac machine, my sacrum/SI joints have never felt better. I feel like I had a successful surgery that made the problem go away for longer than it has in the past. Even after chiropractic adjustments, the joints go in and out of place with a sneeze or rolling over during sleep, or driving. It's been 2 days since I saw you and it's still going! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I could cry just knowing that there could be a solution to the daily discomfort and pain I have with sitting and most activities due to those joints (and others) constantly subluxating. I have a lot of mobility issues, injuries and pain due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Pilates is the one form of exercise I can do that helps instead of hurts me. I highly recommend classes or private lessons with Cheryl to help you get your strength and life back!
I came here while visiting family in Mill Valley. I needed to update my pups vaccines and they were able to get Mushu in right away. The staff are very friendly and it’s the kind of place that feels like a trusted neighborhood clinic that’s been attending to pets for a long time. Dr Willitt is so friendly and knowledgeable and Mushu was calm in his care.
Hallie always does an immaculate job cutting my hair! I have been going to her for 4 years now. As a man with shoulder length, naturally frizzy hair, it can be difficult to find someone who understands how to make my hair look good and Hallie nails it every time.

Tin has been my go-to stylist for the past few years, and even when I moved away from town, I still come to him for haircut when I am back visiting families - that speaks about how much trust I have in him! Tin is skillful, and especially good with my thick and naturally curly and dry hair. What I in particularly appreciate him is that he will create hairstyles that look nice, fit me, and require MINIMAL maintenance. As a working mother, that's been a life changer to show up looking (and feeling) good without having to spend a ton of time!
Joi has done wonders on my hair since I was abt 10 years old!I'm mixed (Irish, English & Black) Joi was the first person who straightened my very curly / fine mixed hair and has been doing it ever since! (I'm 39 now!) She has kept my hair healthy and strong over the years allowing it to grow to a length I really enjoy. She use's some of her own developed products (the Tea rinse) that gives the most glossy shine to my hair, i feel like someone could look at me after i walk out of her studio and see their own reflection in my hair! I had my first haircut and style with Kay and she is hands down the best stylist I've been to. She listened to what I wanted and then, gave me her opinion. I loved that because I have thin, frizzy hair and for so long I have felt like it is hopeless to believe that I could do something with my hair that made me feel good. I had not had a good haircut for so long, that I didn't feel like it was possible. Kay changed that! Mia from #colorbymia referred me to Kay and now I understand why. Kay is an artist (as is Mia). The cut that Kay gave me is so easy to style and she gave me layers for body that did not leave the see through ends which often accompany thin hair. I don't know how she accomplished that but she did! I think it is magic! Kay is also just a wonderful human being and you can sense it the moment you meet her. As I said to Mia, between Mia and Kay, I have found my forever dynamic duo supersheros to keep my hair looking fabulous!

Had my haircut for the first time here, it took like 5 mins to finish since my hair was just started to grow from being bald, haircut is good, i think it was tammy that cuts my hair as how i understand her name everystaff is accomodating and friendly, they always greet customers with a nice smile.
I cannot recommend AP Luxe enough. I consistently get my blowouts here with Nick. Nick's blowouts are perfection. They last forever and are absolute fire without looking all done up. What's better is that from the moment I walk in, it's like reconnecting with a friend. If Keratin is your thing, AP Luxe is my go to trusted. I do keratin treatments here every four months with Alicia and the time and care she puts into make sure it is done well is so appreciated. The people here are kind and genuinely care about their craft. If you're in Marin (and even if you're not), this is the place to be.
Josh is the best barber I have ever had, period. There is really nothing more to say. He is the man and a true professional. Excellent skill and attention to detail. So happy to have finally found a barber I am excited about after years of issues with other barbers in marin. Plus, Josh is a super cool guy and fun to talk with.
I went in and had Chris cut my hair on recommendation from a friend. I do not regret it at all. I have a beard and am balding (no shame). Also I have not had a professional haircut in almost 16 years. Chris did a fantastic job. He took the reins and gave me a great haircut, with style. He styled my beard including a hot towel and straight razor cut.

I love Ace Nails! I get their gel manicures and pedicures and they last forever. I could honestly go a month and half with my pedicure still looking good… May and her team are always friendly and accommodating too. I was in town to see my son, Christopher at noon and I was early. I just drove by and saw the sign and walked in and they took me right away. Sandra did My Pedicure and another gal, I didn't hear her name and I know they told me. I should've asked. Anyway, she specializes in ingrown toenails and I had one for quite a while. With the caveat of previous reviews and acknowledgement that this is an institution, a neighborhood gem, a social hub and haven for women with stories to tell and share, I was referred to Lea several years ago when I was looking for someone to re-perm my hair. That's right. I said "perm." I know, I know, but it's not the 80's anymore and it doesn't have to be synonymous with frizz. The trick is, few salons offer the service. I explained to her what I was looking for: a gentle wave to add body and shape to my otherwise straight Asian hair. I like being able to wash my hair, let it air dry. The perm lets me feel like I've styled it when in fact I'm incredibly lazy. She asked for enough time to buy the right green curlers for the job and we scheduled for a morning about a month later. It's a big job. My hair falls near my waist and I have a lot of it. She usually alternates between green and coral rods to provide a mix of tighter and looser curls. While I only tend to visit once a year, Lea has remembered me from year to year and she's thoughtful and sweet, always doing her best to keep me comfortable while I sit under the heater or reclining in the sink with my head heavy with curlers and neutralizer. The results are worth it: beautiful waves that last for months. (It also doesn't hurt that her prices are reasonable!)
Joy is a real Pro.....I've been going to her for a long time and would not go anywhere else even though I moved to Sonoma County. I have challenging hair and she always manages to create a lovely cut and color. My husband also has started going and his hair has never looked better. Joy is an artist!

This is a review for Jackie Larkins, who did hair for my wedding this past weekend (for myself, my 6 bridesmaids, and my mom). Jackie was incredibly responsive throughout the whole planning process, and she really listened to my feedback after the trial. She was so much fun on the day, and moved efficiently but carefully through everyone, keeping our timeline on track. She gave us all updo's that complemented each other but were unique to each person, and my hair stayed perfectly in place despite crazy heat and 3 hours of intense dancing! I'm very glad I chose Jackie for my big day and would recommend her to anyone else looking for special occasion hair.
Era Salon is fantastic! I have been coming here for years and tried out a variety of services. I always come back here for the eyebrow wax, upper lip wax, and an eyelash tint. I also always request Tao, she is the owner, and very kind and consistent. All the staff there however is great and hardworking. This place is also my mom's go to spot for a manicure and pedicure. I highly recommend era salon! It can get busy so call ahead to book an appointment- they are great about answering the phone & responsiveness.

Valentyna puts so much thought into each and every step of her skincare experience from the clean products she sources to her knowledge of what purpose they serve to her gentle yet intentional touch. I recently had an extensive remodel done on my house by Paulo and his crew from Construbay, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. Paulo handles business professionally and honestly, and his team is very organized. Despite one bad review here, my experience was fantastic. I would definitely use Construbay again for future projects. Highly recommended.
We had noticed some dry rot on the exterior of our house. Sergey responded quickly to the request for an estimate, came to investigate, identified the work to be done, and gave a very reasonable estimated price.He sent a crew quickly before several days of expected rain to do some waterproofing work on the roof to avoid further water damage. Once the rain had passed, he sent his crew back out to repair the damaged areas and repaint. The repairs look great, and the final cost was only a little above the original estimate due to some unexpected work on one of our windows.
This is the coolest secret hangout in Mill Valley. Such a special place to pop in and chill, or bring a friend and enjoy a cup of tea and a game. Not only are there several really cool chill spaces, there seems to be an endless supply of tea and sometimes cookies that just magically appear. The art installations are top notch. What a unique find and creative idea, we are so lucky to have a place like this. It's kinda hard to explain, so just go check it out for yourself and you'll see what I mean.
My garden was overgrown with weeds and really needed help. I interviewed 4 different landscaping companies and Bill had the best quote for the big job needed. He completely landscaped my garden according to my vision of having a sort of French country garden. He installed a drip irrigation system that continues to save water use several years hence. He also provides monthly upkeep and is always responsive to my phone calls. I don't know what happened with the prior customer review, but I know from my personal experience with Bill that he would give an honest response regarding feasibility of landscaping a garden for a reasonable cost. I wouldn't use anyone else as he has proven himself trustworthy over the three years he has worked on the upkeep of his design. I love driving up to my home and seeing the beautiful, lush garden surrounding it. It makes such a difference!
Great job! Long overdue trim for two trees and a few other overgrown trees and shrubs. Jon was great and reviewed with me the work that could/should be done. His crew did a great job and cleaned everything up. Wouldn't know they were here. He was highly recommended by a couple of friends and he didn't disappoint!

I am an athlete; played college tennis and still do. Pilates - is critical to my ability, at 74, to play singles 2,3 times a week. And to work on my overall strength and flexibility and posture. Carmen has a rare combination deep pilates knowledge, knowledge of the human body and people skills. My flexibility and body strength has increased since I started and Carmen has been great helping me rehab from various injuries when needed. After Cheryl showed me some specific exercises to do on the Cadillac machine, my sacrum/SI joints have never felt better. I feel like I had a successful surgery that made the problem go away for longer than it has in the past. Even after chiropractic adjustments, the joints go in and out of place with a sneeze or rolling over during sleep, or driving. It's been 2 days since I saw you and it's still going! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I could cry just knowing that there could be a solution to the daily discomfort and pain I have with sitting and most activities due to those joints (and others) constantly subluxating. I have a lot of mobility issues, injuries and pain due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Pilates is the one form of exercise I can do that helps instead of hurts me. I highly recommend classes or private lessons with Cheryl to help you get your strength and life back!

I’d never had deep tissue massage before and it is exactly what I needed. The ongoing stress of our lives often requires serious attention, and Lucy is a professional who can provide relief. She also suggested several steps that I can take additionally to help maintain better mobility.

I was referred to Dalila of Waterfall healing last year. She has a lovely space , great presence. She is totally present the whole time. She asks if you are comfortable but not every 15 minutes as some do. She is strong and gets into the places that need help. We may talk for a few minutes during the massage but then quiet which for me is important. I receive 90 minute massages. I mostly go on Sunday as I know it will be really quiet with no one else around. She uses essential oils ( not the mlm ones) John Steele’s which are in the top 1 percent of quality and smells. I am an aroma therapist for over 35 years so know my oils, Ask for one of the jasmines, orange blossom, magnolia or ylang ylang (very sweet).

My wife and I had an amazing time in the hot tubs, we both melted and felt fully refreshed. After our session we had our massages done by Mary and Chris, both were excellent! We were both just fully relaxed and my wife said she pretty much instantly fell asleep with Chris' soft but firm touch! Mary was amazing as well sinking into the body and I also nearly fell asleep. I was advised by my ENT doctor to work with Renew Physical Therapy as they specialize with TMJ, jaw and neck pain issues. Cassie and Hailey on two wonderful therapist who understand this issue and how painful and difficult TMJ issues can be. Over the past few months they have helped me with pain management as well as exercises to help ease the muscle tightness. It's a slow process to heal TMJ but they also are two that actually work directly within the jaw and mouth helping to ease the soreness while also helping me gain more mobility in my jaw. I've had long-term shoulder problems for which my orthopedist prescribed physical therapy, in lieu of surgery. I have not gotten physical therapy until now due to piss-poor PT practitioners I have encountered in the past. One ortho surgeon insisted surgery was my only option and a far more credible ortho surgeon kept steering me to physical therapy since recovery from shoulder surgery is nearly a year long and very painful. I brought my daughter to Mill Valley Physical Therapy for knee rehab after her meniscus surgery. The PT pro was doing excellent work for my daughter so I thought, 'I'm already here; maybe I can try PT again while my daughter is working on her recovery.' I made an appointment to coincide with my daughter's next appointment. Fingers crossed! At my first appointment, my assigned PT Pro began by going over the MRI report, which she'd already read, and explained it to me so this non-medical professional (me) could understand which muscles are torn, which are in distress, where bone spurs are rubbing and degrading ligaments in my shoulder and, then!, explained all the secondary effects my body was likely feeling as a consequence of the main problems evident on the MRI. In short, she put in the effort before my appointment to be thoroughly prepared to begin fully informed treatment of my shoulders as soon as we met. My PT pro proceeded to work on my shoulders to ease the years-long pain I've endured. By my second appointment, I was already feeling relief in my shoulders and she began treatment to the secondary pain spots. Suddenly, I was feeling better, I was taking fewer muscle relaxers to sleep, and I was sleeping through the night without pain. I had not slept through the night without pain in years! I still have work to do to achieve my goals for my shoulders but I am highly confident, nay, extremely confident, my PT Pro will steadily guide me to heal and strengthen my body to the best of my capabilities. Also, the front office staff are super friendly and accommodating to get my appointments and my daughter's appointments to happen concurrently. They also regularly update my orthopedist on my progress. The other PT Pros not treating me or my daughter all know both my daughter and me by name and greet us enthusiastically and actively check in to see if we feel we are improving and asking if we need anything else for our comfort and rehabilitation. Sorry, this is a super long review but there are so many inadequate PT practitioners out there, I felt duty-bound to share with my Yelp Comminity the rare, professional, and highly competent group of professionals at Mill Valley Physical Therapy who are worthy of your trust.
Chris did a great job addressing my issues. He has a holistic approach to healing which includes some take-home work / treatment that you have to do on your own in-between sessions. He's kind and perceptive and takes an interest in your progress. The office is easy to get to and relaxing to be in. I highly recommend him for anyone looking to try Chinese medicine!

I saw Andrew for 3 appointments and found him to be extremely helpful. Unfortunately I couldn't continue because of my work schedule but I wanted to leave this review for others to read. He is an excellent acupuncturist and hypnotist. His office is lovely and easily accessible. He is very experienced and really easy to talk to and I highly recommend his service to anyone. Mary has used multiple modalities for whatever my need is per visit. After my hip replacement I sought her out for addressing pain in my feet, of all places. She worked wonders. I revisit her for congestion in my ankles and any number of aches and pains. Mary is a "healer" with many effective tools!! I highly recommend her.

Dr. Sam is the best! My sports are dance, weightlifting, HIIT, running, and I discovered Sam through a fellow dancer friend when I mentioned I had overtrained my glute. Dr. Sam is a bodywork mercenary, using whatever means necessary (acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, massage, physical therapy exercises, stretching) to help you feel better. I always feel like a million bucks after her appointments. Can't recommend her enough!
Dr Whitney may look like a young beautiful model but she is actually a Master Healer. She has the expertise of a much older wise acupuncturist, her treatments are powerful and gentle. She embodies a compassionate approach that will guide you in your health journey, but she's not afraid to gimme the tough love that I (personally) need to keep me on track. I must be a lucky guy in picking Acupuncturist Li Fang Jin out of a long list of acupuncturists listed in the San Francisco area. She managed to fixed my acute pain in my my knees and leg area shortly! I have been suffering with great pain in my right knee especially along with some pain along my left leg for past month as I try to walk. I was unable to walk my dog for short distances for a couple of weeks! I am very fortunate to be receiving treatments from acupuncturist Li in spite of her busy schedule with other patients. Within a week of three treatments by Dr. Li, I was able to walk again minus the excruciating pain in my knee and leg! I was pleasantly surprised that she speak fluent English even though she had been trained in the old country of Southern China. She is very meticulous in her treatment of my problematic pain area of my knees and leg area. I can hardly the pain as she inserted the magic needles into my skin! Even Einstein my schnauzer was very happy that I could take him for walks several times a day after neglecting him for about two weeks when I was unable to walk as my osteo arthritis flares up! Thanks to Dr. Li, Einstein and I are able to resume our daily routine of walking in the park, including occasional dinners at restaurants!
