Lidia is an excellent stylist !! Her salon is so clean and simple - not overly decorated, very refreshing. And her classic 80s playlist makes for good vibes. She was very quick to respond to my messages and very flexible with scheduling. She really took her time with my hair, but she was so quick to find uneven growth and what needed cutting. I'm SO happy with the cut. She also took her time drying my hair layer by layer so that it lays perfectly. I also really appreciate all the kind advice she offered about care for long hair and even gave me a sample of hair oil for my ends. She's worked for years in NY, then LA, but came back to Merced and has so much experience, which she shared while working on me. She works so fast but carefully! I'll definitely be back!
I’m a massage therapist and I see Dr. Moua for a weekly adjustment and it absolutely saves me from feeling burnt out from my busy client facing work. The facility is clean with a really friendly staff and the D.C. I’ve worked with are so knowledgeable and versed in their skills that I always walk out of my session feeling heard with relief. Their monthly membership is a great investment for self-care. I highly recommend adding them to your routine.

Maria was absolutely a life saver. We were in a bind to get my daughter's prom dress altered before her prom. We only had 3 days to work with. I called every where locally and all were booked. Maria was recommended to me by a family member and she asked us to come that day. Although she was busy she felt bad about our situation (our original seamstress had a family emergency). I thought it would be difficult with all the beading. The back of the dress had the exact same beading as the front, and there was a train with beads around the bottom. We needed it gone. She only charged $60 for a rush job (we had been quoted higher out of town) and she even had the dress done in 2 days. She did such an amazing job, great quality work you couldn't even tell it was altered. Maria was so sweet and kind. She did exactly what we asked and she came through before the pick up date. I would highly recommend her services and I will be going back to her for future services. We were so appreciative we tipped her. Everyone has different experiences, take light of the negative views. Although I was slightly worried, all subsided when we met her.
We were always able to get a reply from them within 24hrs if we had questions or concerns from the firm. Always great to be able to reach out to same person each time without having a different person each time. We were kept informed. I have several large Redwoods that have started dying, and I needed to hire an arborist to give me some advice. I called American Tree Medics and was very impressed with the arborist they sent out. He did lots of testing and examining, and educated me about the trees. He was very patient with the many questions I had. He came up with a treatment plan for the trees, which he wrote down for me with specific instructions. He even said to call him if I have any more questions. Great service! I definitely recommend American Tree Medics!

She is the sweetest and took time to make sure I was going to love it. I have 4c hair type and wasn’t trusting for anyone to do my hair since I have very kinky coils. But she delivered! I’m a Christian and I have to say that God has blessed her with an amazing talent. My husband is even grateful for how she made me look and feel. I was happy that I was able to walk in and seated right away. I got a manicure and pedicure. I was worried my nails were too short for a French tip but she made it work ! I've gone to other nail salons in merced where the polish chipped right away and happy to say this quality looks better than the others I've been to.
I am putting five stars so that it is seen. But it deserves zero. It took me about a month to post this review because it was such an embarrassing experience. I called in about an hour and a half before they close. To be nice and make sure they had time. They insisted they did. Long story short they took complete advantage of me. When I asked for change so I could tip the guy who did my pedicure because I didn’t know that three different people would be doing my nails and he was just sitting there waiting…I received only 20s. So that’s what I tipped for a pedicure that they insisted they could not do to match my nails. My nail tips were lifted from the nail bed only glued at the very edge leaving a gap from the center of the nail bed to the free edge of my natural nail. I showed the second man who was to shape my nails. He said oh its fine. This was after the girl who glued them on left me to sit through the entire pedicure with four inch nails. He then came and cut them without asking how long I wanted them so they ended up too short. He then shaped them into little old lady nails and sent me off to the girl who put the tips on. She painted a nail and i asked very very politely if i could get the pink instead. After all of this I left there with awful lifted nails that did not match my toe nails. that cost $125 and I realize now why they had three people do my nails…I tipped them each $20 since i had tipped the man who did my pedicure that much and they just made me feel so uncomfortable. They were rude even though I was so kind and polite to them the entire time. If it was too late and they didn't want to do the appointment all they had to do was say so when I called and asked. I am not good at the whole self care thing. I am always busy doing for everyone else. I had to keep telling myself that it was NOT a selfish thing to get my nails done. I ended up spending $200 because I went in to the milan school and paid them $5 to take the nails off. Feel free to contact them to validate this review. It was so bad that they took pictures for themselves as reference and the instructor said that BJ's used a bad monomer or whatever the acrylic liquid is called…something about it being MMA rather than EMA. But I didn’t so much care at that point I just wanted the nails off. I would highly recommend you stay away from this nail salon. I’m so embarrassed. So much for that whole “you deserve to be kind and do this for yourself.”thing. The man who did my nails has sleeve tattoos and is missing front teeth. The girl who did my tips and polish was probably about 19. Just fyi.
Requested style: I asked for jelly nails. They said they couldn’t do it. So I asked for the magnet cat eye and they wouldn’t do any art.

I was really unsure what to expect with going somewhere new because I have a hard time trusting other people with my hair but He really showed compassion and patience with us . My daughters and I had a self care and bonding day today and it was amazing to experience the great amounts of kindness from him ! I would definitely recommend LUXE REPUBLIC SALON to anyone who is looking for a new hairstylist or is new in this area . It took me a while to book a massage with anyone because I'm particular with experience, cleanliness......so after looking around, I decided to book with Lucy and she exceeded all my expectations!! She's super nice and listens to what you need. I suffer from back pain and every time I walk out, I'm like a brand new person. I got my parents to go to her too and when they come out from their session, they look lighter. My dad never had a good massage, so he was super skeptical, but afterwards he said he would give her 1000 star review if he could. We have to drive quite a bit, but we all agree it's extremely worth it. Plus, it's affordable!! Highly, highly recommend!!!
What a great place! As a 30 year skin cancer patient, this is by far the best care I have ever received! Previous doctors were not able to see me for over a month, then an appointment for a biopsy then another appointment to remove everything. Merced Dermatology appointments are usually available in less than 2 weeks, biopsies are done during the initial visit and then the follow up is in 2 weeks. What a relief. The staff are fantastic!

I was very happy with the ear piercing I received today. The environment was very clean with gloves worn and a sterilized table and needle. The piercing was done quickly and well and I received instructions on how to care for my ear. I was really happy with the whole experience, and gladly recommend this shop!

We had been wanting to switch the location of our television in our living room for years. Finally, we called around to a few local electrical contractors to see what a job like this costs. A Bonner gave us a quote over the phone, and we were happy with it. We also were happy with the caliber of their customer service. They were honest, genuine, kind, and on-site they worked with a smile. That's nice to see! They value their clients and they are passionate about what they do! For this job, they extended our cables for the TV through the attic, supplied a four-way power port and cable port in the new wall, and wired them through. They were fast and also were kind enough to let us know our attic and walls were missing insulation (another job successfully filled by a local contractor found on Yelp). They also helped us with some questions we had about some wires throughout the house, and we appreciated learning from their expertise! We will continue to call A Bonner for our home electrical needs. Thank you!

I was a couple hours post op when Adam called to schedule my appointment, so I was a bit out of it. I thought my appointment was set for 3:30, but apparently it was between 3-3:30. I got home at 3:25 and had a card in my door— I missed the technician. I was a bit bummed because I had already prepared my apartment for the spray (everything bagged and out of the way).
A quick phone call and within 30 minutes later, Adam showed up!

In the past you have trimmed and cleaned up our Palm trees and did an amazing job, you also cut down some very tall Italian Cypress trees and did a magnificent job. And you cut down our peach and pear trees that were leaving a mess from all the droppings, you did a fabulous job.
You also trimmed and cleaned up our Olive trees and left them pristine.
Thank you and your crew for the amazing job you did on removing the redwood it has opened up the view and the yard looks so much bigger, what a beautiful view we have now.

Looks like it's been a minute since anyone has updated or reviewed Dr. Rowan. We are fairly new to Merced and the thought of finding a new dentist was daunting. We lucked out with Dr. Rowan, his staff is kind and attentive. He is very attentive and quick with his work. My daughter has extreme anxiety with dentists and she was able to complete her treatment without Nitrious. He let her pick the music, that was amazing and very appreciated. We did joke that there weren't any TVs but the music selection is nice. Did we mention Dr. Rowan is a genie, numbs everything before injecting the numbing stuff. Soo you barely feel the needles. Definitely recommend him and his team to everyone.
Dr. Propes and his staff are super friendly and explain everything thoroughly. They find the answers I need even when I call in and have questions.
Dr Goodin’s office is very friendly and they try to keep in touch with current events, like tooth fairy day or school days. Yvette is an awesome hygienist, she cleans your teeth well and painlessly. She and everyone there are great to chat with while in their care.
Love their front office, Lexi is super sweet and kind! She schedules and works with my three kids and husband, knows the small details of our family! Dr. Lequia is AWESOME and sweet, we've been going for years, and isn't super aggressive with unnecessary diagnosis of your teeth. His team and him respects and listens to what your mouth and teeth are feeling. A+++++
An excellent dentist. He was described to me as "an absolute artist" by an oral surgeon who installed the underlying bits for an implant, and after getting the implant installed I have to agree; it's like my tooth came back!

I used to see Dr. Aguilar in Atwater, since he passed away I couldn't find anyone that was able to work the adjustment like he was able to. I found Dr. Sangha on Google and I'm so glad I went in for an appointment, he was able to work out the kinks in my back. My back feels so much better after just one visit, I can only imagine how much better I'll feel with consistent appointments. The office staff is super sweet too. I highly recommend his office to anyone looking for a chiropractor.

Wonderful dermatologist who listens to all your concerns and questions. The front staff is also very nice and I've never had to wait a long time before being seen. The 40 minute drive to be seen by the doctor is totally worth it for me and I won't be going anywhere else.
Dr. Sheffield is a wonderful doctor! My dogs have been under her care since 2005 when she saved my two little puppies from dying with parvo. I recently learned that she has left Animal Medical Center and started working at Valley Animal Hospital. My dogs will be following Dr. Sheffield to her new clinic for continuing care of their medical needs.

We love Dr. Byerly and Sierra Vet Clinic. We have 4 cats and 3 dogs, all are rescue animals and all have been treated by doc Byerly. He listens to our concerns and always does what is best for our fur babies. They don't perform unnecessary treatments and the costs are reasonable. The staff has always been courteous and professional to us even when things are hectic. We wouldn't trust our loved ones with anyone else.
Frequently use boarding services for our dog. Always feel comfortable knowing he will be well cared for and safe.

My dog needed to be seen fast to make sure he didn't get worse and they got him right in. Everyone was great and supportive, even the other patient parents and the UPS man.
I've been going to them ever since I rescued my dog 3 years ago. They've always done an awesome job on Thunder! So much better when they moved their business elsewhere because the place before was really small and hard to get to. I so appreciate them!!
She did a great job cutting my chihuahua Daisy's nails. That is no easy job with Daisy, because she goes from being the sweetest most loving dog to the tasmanian devil in 2.3 seconds. She definitely earned my business.
Chelsea is an an amazing Groomer. Toby our little Bichon Poodle Mix really loves her. She is very busy. So make appointments ahead of time.

Jen is so amazing. Your massage starts with a heated wrap on your upper back while she massages your feet and legs. She then moves to your back and works her way to the tips of your fingers. I always add the organic facial - do it, you won't be disappointed! I've been going to Jen for several months now and I always look forward to my appointments with her! She pays attention to detail and she can tell just what areas need her attention the most. I will never go to anyone else locally other than Jen!

my 13 year daughter was in pain her right leg had a pinched nerve and muscle pain but with his experience and care he was able to help her. She walked with her body straight up and no limping. Thank you for your help and experience
This young woman was the best! She helped me feel so much better with my back problems and sciatica problem. I am so sad she closed her office when Covid hit. Wish I could find out if she moved anywhere near the Merced area.
I had never had any acupuncture or cupping treatments prior to coming to Sage so I had no idea what to expect. I still don't fully understand the "science" behind it, but I am now fully a believer in its effectiveness as a treatment. I came to Sage with concerns about my immune system being constantly down, chronic sinus congestion, and fertility issues. My husband and I had been trying to conceive for 6-7 months up until then, and after a total of 7 acupuncture treatments (over the course of 2 months), we finally conceived. Obviously it's difficult to say how much of an influence the treatments had, but what I can say with certainty is that I noticed a difference in my cycles after the first two treatments. I also felt like it did wonders for my stress levels which were high when I began treatment. That one hour that I would spend on the table was sometimes the most relaxing and meditative hour of my week. Dr. Ingle does everything in her power to ensure you are warm and comfortable during treatment. The cupping worked wonders for my chronic back and neck pain, and I felt sinus/congestion relief almost as soon as Dr. Ingle put those points in. Ultimately, I experienced fewer days of illness, despite having a toddler in daycare. Dr. Ingle's energy is calm and soothing; she is perfect for the job. And she's very professional and "by the book"; the type of person I trust to do things properly. I highly recommend giving Sage and acupuncture a try if you have any pain or chronic issues, or even fertility issues. You will likely benefit in multiple ways, some of them unexpected!
