“This review is for Dura-Foam roofing in Menlo Park, Ca. Our Eichler roof needed to be replaced within 1 month for insurance reasons and there would be no exceptions or extensions. We took bids from 4 different companies and decided on Dura-Foam for their reputation, competitive price and initial excellent communications (which continued throughout the process). The primary contact was with Trevor Hill. Trevor was knowledgeable, patient, responsive and very helpful. He took the time to explain options and provide honest information regarding the pluses and minuses of each. We decided on a foam roof. Trevor also provided options regarding the sub-contractors that we needed to do the plumbing and electrical work required. Later in the process, they also suggested a bit of additional work that made total sense to do now vs later. This project had its challenges. We had a tight deadline (and budget) to get it done during the busiest (and hottest) time of year and have a great tenant renting the property that we wanted to be very mindful of. The team did not disappoint ! In addition to Trevor, we had Anthony (onsite mgr.), and Joel (electrical and plumbing). We had one incident with the A/C that quit working during a heat wave. Joel went the extra mile to try to resolve the problem as quickly as possible, and even offered to personally rent a standalone AC unit for the tenant until we could get it resolved. Thankfully Joel soon resolved the issue, but this was very impressive and doubt many companies would offer to do this. In the end, the Dura-foam team completed our project on time, with great communication and attitude throughout the entire process and with a great result. We easily passed inspections, and our insurance company renewed us. Moving forward, we will use Dura-foam to do the recoat when its due. Also of note, Dura-foam does solar installs and when the time is right, we will be working with them for this as well. Thanks Dura-foam for all your hard work !“

“We HIGHLY recommend Security Roofing in San Carlos. We own a rental property in Redwood City with a very old shake roof. Our long- time friend and successful Bay Area Real Estate Agent, who always knows the best tradesmen to use, recommended Security Roofing, telling us to call the owner Bob, when we realized we had some roof leaks. Bob was wonderful to work with. He offered to personally come and temporarily seal roof leaks, when heavy rain was coming before our date for the roof replacement. “Amazing experience with Above All Roofing Services. Emile is honest and prompt. Called during rain as mold developing in kid's room ceiling. Emile called an employee in and together they came out immediately despite it being Friday late afternoon. Looked everything up and down. Could have charged me an arm and leg. Not Emile, he said the roof is not the problem and explained what was happening and how to manage it. We had pre-agreed on a price for the evaluation. He completed all of our requested work: pressure washing the driveway, front door walkway, both sidewalks to the backyard (one needed it partially), and the patio. Pricing was upfront and fair. “Allan's team did a fantastic job installing their lightweight Slate 2 system. After 2 years it still looks great, and I expect it to last another 50. They really showed high level craftsmanship in all their custom fitted copper installations, including large rounded roof and dormer sections, oversized flashings, along with gutters and downspouts of course. They were open to specific design discussion and requests, and they always delivered on their promises - including finishing at the cost and timing they estimated.“

“Alex Soto and Zenith Roofers are A++ and came to our rescue to resolve a time-pressured emergency. Beware homeowners... insurance companies in CA are reviewing roofs using aerial photography and even a shadow in a photo is enough for them to suspect that your roof is faulty and put you into a "non-renewal" status... meaning your policy is going to get cancelled unless you get a licensed roofer to inspect and write a report determining your roof to be in good shape. A little panic on our end because our roof is in good shape/no leaks, and we couldn't quite be sure what would satisfy the insurer, and we didn't want to have to redo the whole roof. Of all the local roofing companies we reached out to (who actually called us back...), Zenith came to assess our situation within the week, promptly gave us a bid and detailed scope of suggested work, AND said they could quickly fit our small job into their busy schedule. Alex understood the assignment!! Other roofers couldn't guarantee a date to schedule the work for months ahead, and the clock was ticking. Trust me, you don't want your homeowner's insurance policy cancelled if you can avoid it. “I can't say enough good things about this company. I recently needed a part to be replaced in my furnace and everyone was involved in making this happen as the weather was cold. Joe detected what the problem was, ordered the part and later found out it was going to take a few days to get here. The staff picked up the phone, found another place who had the part and the part was installed the next day. This was Joe's day off and I was very grateful to him and I would've needed to go into the weekend without a furnace. “Skybleu is a family owned business: Patrick and Mirela. They cleaned the 16 windows of my one-story house for me. I have some complicating vegetation near some walls of my house, making access cumbersome.Patrick and Mirela arrived on time with their assistant Jose. The cleaning included windows inside and outside, the screens, and tracks. The team was super efficient, and outstandingly thorough. The difference of looking through any of my windows is striking. Sharp contrasts of the outside world, and more light. I collected three estimates. One was way lower, the other was right along the same line with Patrick's. After conversing with Patrick I decided to choose his company, because he is clearly engaged with this work, and cares about the outcome. The same is true for Mirela. She explained at some point during the cleaning that they both enjoy the work, and this connection shows in the results.I don't know whether this is common practice, but Patrick and Mirela use a machine that removes all minerals from the water that they use for the outside of the glass. The result is the crystal clear view without any spots. I would instantly hire Skybleu again. They also do kitchen remodels, though I have no experience with that part of their business.“
