The laundromat is located in a nicer part of town, and the facility is large and spacious. Standard washers cost $5 for 30 minutes, while heavily soiled washes are $6. Larger capacity washing machines are $7, and the dryers are 25 cents per 5 minutes. There is a $1 fee to have the staff transfer your load from the washer to the dryer if you want to leave. The machines accept quarters, and there is a change dispenser on-site. Customers have praised the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the quick and thorough cleaning of the machines. This is an attended laundromat, which means it is cleaner than most, has a nice set of restrooms (attached to the next door ice cream shop), a machine to make change, a machine that sells single-box detergent, and live plants to cheer things up.
Still, multiple dryers and washers are constantly out of service, the staff are often disgruntled (and close early), and I just did a load where a glitter pen had been left behind by another patron — unbeknownst to me — in either the washer or the dryer, and my entire load, including whites, ended up stained with bright green goo.
So now I have to deal with the costly consequences, which leaves me very VERY unhappy.
Laundry stops are a necessity on bike camping trips, but rarely are they pleasant or memorable as this one. We got to keep our bikes on the porch out of the rain, and the lady working there greeted us and directed us to the smallest (and least expensive) machine that could fit our clothes. We didn’t catch her name, but she mentioned she was from Arkansas. We had a great chat, and she offered us really helpful information about the area.

Sarah is one of the loveliest people I've ever met. We stopped in here while on a camping trip to do some washing after a rainy morning and she raised all of our spirits. The machines were easy to use and everything was clean.
