“They came out to a home where I was working in Carmel to fix a water leak under the house. Justin found the leak, fixed it, and charged a very fair price.
Two other plumbing companies came here first and both couldn’t find this leak. PLUS one of the other companies charged more than Marina Plumbing and Heating just for looking!

I managed maintenance at 17 locations in the Monterey/Salinas/Carmel area and relied on JT Plumbing for HUGE emergencies and minor issues. They handled EVERYTHING no matter how large or small the problem was. They deftly handled problems that required road closures to excavate sewer lines in city streets. They took care of sewer line blockages. You name it, they did it. When what seemed like a simple plumbing call required different contractors to get involved they knew how to manage the project. Don't be fooled by the one star reviews - it looks like those people are being petty. If you need a plumber and want the best do not call the companies that advertise on the radio because they will upsell services that you don't need. Call JT.“

Visible from under the sink whenever the hot water was on. It seemed to be coming from the base of the faucet where the hose attached. And the cold water shut-off valve wasn't working so an attempt on my part to repair that was beyond my skill level. (Jesus) Brad's Plumbing service had an opening and were able to come onsite for same day service, and were able to correctly identify the actual cause of the leak (worn 'O' rings on the faucet spout) and replace the cold water shut-off valve promptly. Service was prompt, efficient. Problem resolved.“

“Les installed the kinetico soft water system in our house and did an awesome and professional job. The company is Aqua Terra Water Service and we got set up with Soft water for the house and also drinking water. Previously we had a soft water system but we had issues with it. We have 7 people in our house with lot's of laundry and showers and the previous system would run out of soft water and we would have to recycle the water manually. This kineitico system has two tanks for ample soft water. The drinking water is a reverse osmosis with filters and does an excellent job with tasty water and does a better job than our previous system. Highly recommended.“

Here is my experience:I needed a plumber to do the rough-in work for a kitchen and bathroom renovation on my house. The renovation is permitted and I am acting as the owner/builder GC. Most good subcontractors are very busy these days and this situation was no exception. As I am new to the area I asked around for recommendations and came up with a list of four plumbers for consideration. I met with all four and I solicited bids from three of the four. There was quite a price range in the bids and while cost was not the deciding factor, I chose Andrew Young, owner of Legacy Plumbing to do the work. I found Legacy’s pricing to be fair, reasonable, and ultimately a good value for money.First off, Andrew’s communication was excellent. He is very personable and returned phone calls, followed up without prompting and took the time to visit the site twice during the interview process. Nothing is more frustrating to me that being unable to communicate with a contractor or business and Andrew was off to a great start in this regard.Andrew’s written bid was straightforward and encompassed everything that we had discussed during the site walkthrough. Payment terms are simple and very fair. Andrew clarified a few questions that I had regarding the job and his answers told me everything I needed to know and I signed the contract for the work. This is our first step of the renovation (demolition and framing) I felt av groups did a perfect job so I want to give a review and will update the process along the step. I interviewed five renovation teams: Eventually, I decided to choose them. They have fair pricing, I'll definitely recommend them to everyone. Choosing a renovation team is truly a big learning process. We are at our first stage of renovation, framing and demolition. We found many things that needed replacing during the teardown process. For example, decayed or termite-damaged wood, old pipes; as well as installing insulation and reinforcing the foundation. Alberto was able to taking care of this for me. Alberto is also handling things like contractor licenses, worker's comp, and permits. He can clearly explain every detail, each steps, how long it will take, and how each part will be done. “Our 15 year old radiant water and home water heater recently started leaking. We contacted Peninsula Hydronics/Plumbing since we recognized their trucks in Carmel on many occasions. Our first contact was on a Thursday with Lisa, Office Manager, who got us promptly scheduled same day without an emergency service rate. Radiant Heating Technician Phillip came out and triaged the problem that the heater was definitely at the end of its service life. After a consultation with owner/proprietor Pete Pinon, we agreed to go the tankless water heater route. By the following Monday, we were set up for installation! Technician Andrew and David did a superb job installing and replumbing/replacing the previously installed nightmare of piping and recalibrated our system. Due to debris in the previously installed system, Phillip managed to flush all the junk out. Throughout our project/installation, Pete (owner) checked in on the progress. At the completion our project, Lisa called to ensure our satisfaction.Bottom line, we were impressed with the expertise, professionalism, price/value, courtesy and customer experience from our team at Pen.
