“They came out to a home where I was working in Carmel to fix a water leak under the house. Justin found the leak, fixed it, and charged a very fair price.
Two other plumbing companies came here first and both couldn’t find this leak. PLUS one of the other companies charged more than Marina Plumbing and Heating just for looking!

I managed maintenance at 17 locations in the Monterey/Salinas/Carmel area and relied on JT Plumbing for HUGE emergencies and minor issues. They handled EVERYTHING no matter how large or small the problem was. They deftly handled problems that required road closures to excavate sewer lines in city streets. They took care of sewer line blockages. You name it, they did it. When what seemed like a simple plumbing call required different contractors to get involved they knew how to manage the project. Don't be fooled by the one star reviews - it looks like those people are being petty. “Kris, with Landmark Plumbing, a highly, formally educated plumber, provided me with exceptional, professional, and personal customer service, a pleasant personality, prompt job completion with proper long lasting quality parts with 100% guarantee. I had four (4) plumbing issues that Kris needed to address; install a kitchen faucet and replace the mechanism in the toilet tank, a falling bathroom sink and a major/main pipe leaking under the house. This leaking pipe is the pipe that both bathrooms feed into before going out to the city’s main pipeline. A termite company found the leak. I went online to find a plumber to resolve all these problems. When I saw Landmark Plumbing Service had a high 5.0 perfect reviews compared to other plumbing companies I called them. As I recall, Kris came to the house the next day. On that day, I described my four issues to him. Kris at once replaced the mechanism in the toilet tank and installed the new kitchen faucet I had. Before he replaced the faucet, he noticed that my water pressure was excessively high coming from the city main water system. Kris recommended and authorized the installation of a pressure regulating system. The pressure regulating system guaranteed the work Kris performed in the house, and I realized a much improved, cost saving flow with all water related appliances.
Kris went under the house and took pictures of the leaking pipe.
He went into the bathroom vanity and took pictures of the falling sink. He explained in plain language what the problems were and what is needed to efficiently correct the problems. From my house Kris transferred the pictures with his voicemail instructions to his drywall and painter subcontractor. Kris would then replace the piping. Kris’s solution for the falling sink was to replace it with a drop-in sink. He sent the picture and the measurement of the sink opening to his research person to find the right drop-in sink. This saved me from having to buy a costly new vanity. Kris and the subcontractor completed fixing my four (4) plumbing issues within less than one week’s time to my complete satisfaction. Kris and Nick kept continuous contact with me.“

“We've had softeners in the past on other homes but decided to install a water conditioner from another company when we moved in 3 years ago. When I called for service (seeing LOTS of build-up) we found that there were no local service companies, and the nearest one wanted $2,000 to recharge the media - after informing us that they were brand new to servicing the company and had to get back to us to give us THAT bad news. We have very hard water and instead of investing $2,000 every 3 years for mediocre results, we decided to invest in a water softening system. Based on 5-star reviews on Yelp and other local social media sites we called Les for an appointment to give us a quote for a replacement system. Les was very punctual, and there was no hard-sell from him - only information about the system he sells and what our local water had in it. After discussing the options and cost (with Les actually telling us NOT to purchase a more expensive system, based on our home usage of 4 adults), we decided to purchase a water softening and reverse osmosis system from him. He was up-front that it would be at least 4 weeks before he could do our install (not what we wanted to hear, but I'd rather hear the truth than a lie), and almost to the day at 4 weeks he called to set up the install within a few days. Les was able to use some of the piping from our previous system but still took the time needed for a quality installation. He walked us through how the system worked, when and how to check the salt levels (and recommended going to Costco for the salt .. again, no hard sell!), and when we could expect to have to service the system as well as the general cost (WAY less than $2,000!). You won't meet a nicer guy, a more professional person, and a more honest business person than Les - and you won't regret purchasing your system through him. I'd give him 10-stars if I could - our experience has simply been that good!“

Here is my experience:I needed a plumber to do the rough-in work for a kitchen and bathroom renovation on my house. The renovation is permitted and I am acting as the owner/builder GC. Most good subcontractors are very busy these days and this situation was no exception. As I am new to the area I asked around for recommendations and came up with a list of four plumbers for consideration. I met with all four and I solicited bids from three of the four. There was quite a price range in the bids and while cost was not the deciding factor, I chose Andrew Young, owner of Legacy Plumbing to do the work. I found Legacy’s pricing to be fair, reasonable, and ultimately a good value for money.First off, Andrew’s communication was excellent. He is very personable and returned phone calls, followed up without prompting and took the time to visit the site twice during the interview process. Nothing is more frustrating to me that being unable to communicate with a contractor or business and Andrew was off to a great start in this regard.Andrew’s written bid was straightforward and encompassed everything that we had discussed during the site walkthrough. This is our first step of the renovation (demolition and framing) I felt av groups did a perfect job so I want to give a review and will update the process along the step.
