Cardiopulmonary Wellness Program of Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula

I had surgery on Thursday and the outpatient surgery center was awesome. Dr. Papathomas and Dr. Clark and all the nurses and staff were sooo nice and supportive. Susan, and Kristen and all nurses took really good care of me. Chomp is the best hospital everrrr, I’m always taken care of here. Thank u Chomp ?????

I just joined and went for the first time after my initial tour orientation and signing up. My first time there to exercise was not a good experience. I checked myself in at the front desk and staff were huddled at front desk chatting and relating with each other and did not greet me. No problem and don't care. What I do care about is I did not see any staff for the entire 2 hrs in the pool area while I was there. I utilized the hot tub, pool and warm pool--all were clean. And the facility was clean. At first, 80 bucks seemed like a lot for a gym, especially when I was shopping around in Dec. and Monterey Rec had their yearly special and a yearly membership would've been around $35 p/month if paid up front. However, Montage is a month-to-month membership, and that worked in my favor. I was looking for a place to do lap swimming and on most days I would be able to find a lane for myself. Once in a while you'd get young people in the evenings who wanted to hang out in the pool and not get a work-out in. But if you wait enough in the hot tub, eventually a lane opens up.
