“I called CAP Board-up after receiving a very high quote from another company. We had been broken into and urgently needed to repair a sliding glass door. CAP was very fast to respond and did a great job at a respectful price. I say respectful because we were upset on having been robbed and the other company seemed to take advantage of our desperate situation. Not CAP. Their technician cleaned up the glass and secured the door without any damage to the frame. I was also able to pay by Venmo which made everything easy. A good experience in a difficult context.“

“Dean's company installed trim around my staircase and door trim. They also installed a closet and 2 prehung doors and a lot of shutters. The price was reasonable. Dean is very personable. The work was as expected.“

“Paul is a nice guy and cares about finding affordable solutions to help you with whatever is going on at your home. He's done a whole bunch of jobs for me: - electrical switch install - GFCI outlet install - fixing doors that weren't aligned to doorways - install new locks in doors He is capable, responsive, shows up when he says he will and will help you figure out the best way to approach your problem. My only criticism of Paul is that he is sometimes a little distractable. He'll notice problems you didn't ask him to address and start working on them. Sometimes this is good. (He actually found a bunch of water damage that had been being missed during a water restoration project at my home and saved me the headache of dealing with worse mold problems down the road.) Sometimes, it's kind of annoying when you just want him to get done the job you hired him for, and he's working on an hourly rate and he spends time on things you never asked him to address. I think if you give him 1 clear job at a time though, Paul is excellent and very affordable.“
