Knows everything including all the latest studies and treatments. Easy to schedule with especially in the post covid vet shortage. And most importantly cares about her patients. We end up seeing her way more than our primary care vet for all these reasons and more.“

“I was recommended here for dental work for my dog from k9 grillz. I am grateful we came here for his dental cleaning and extractions! I was nervous about the process as it's never fun to have to put your dog under and undergo any type of procedure even for their best health. My dog is my best friend and super anxious so the idea made me anxious too! However, the entire staff was so helpful and kind which made me feel so much better. “My beloved senior cat, Rusty, was suddenly in distress from long-term chronic kidney disease, refusing food for a couple days and unable to drink water without throwing up. I was freaking out because I had to leave town shortly for three weeks. This happened to be an important trip to care for my mom. I hated the thought of both "disappearing" on Rusty at this critical time, or not being there for him should he die. ESAH kindly carried through on offering me a cancelled appointment that same day. Dr. Shin was wonderful and caring. She told me that Rusty was in critical condition and advised of extreme measures that could be taken to try to stabilize his health. She also admitted that treatment may not work and would only offer a temporary solution. She assured me that--far from cruel--this would be a good time to let Rusty go. Her stating this was extremely important to me in making a very painful, sudden decision. Dr. Shin and the ESAH staff were exceptionally kind and supportive. They allowed my husband and I all the time we needed to pamper Rusty and say our good-byes. Rusty was calmed by our presence and drifted off peacefully. I'm grateful to Dr. Shin and the ESAH staff for guiding and helping me through this very tough experience. They followed up by sending me flowers the next day. As sad as I am over the loss of Rusty, I'm also feeling lucky to live near this amazing clinic.“

“I took my dog Stormi Blu in today for a visit. Dr. Schlanger is so attentive, informative and all around a good human! There is no place I would take Stormi other then to this practice. I feel so safe knowing my Stormi is being taken care of properly and with care. The staff in the office are so helpful as well. Gina endured endless calls with me asking questions (I'm a new dog mom) and each call she handled with so much patience , understanding and kindness. “Last week, my sister and I rescued a cat who was severely injured from a dog fight. Took our little guy to the Access Hospital, and left with a big bill and no help. The next day we took him here, and I have no words to describe how caring and wonderful everyone was. From Gabby at the front desk, to the doctor and all of the nurses. They all were very sweet and helpful, went above and beyond to try and save Rayito. Unfortunately, the injuries were too much, and infection had spread. I know for certain, they did all they could... but this little angel needed to cross the rainbow. They gave us pain medicine, so he won't suffer, and we took him home. Crossing the rainbow bridge the following day. I will never forget the kindness they showed us during such a hard time. I have added a picture of Rayito. Took him to see the sunset at the beach the day before the crossed over. Thank you guys.“

“I have been taking my two cats for 4 years since they were kittens and this team has always been accommodating and very helpful. They remind me of any upcoming health maintenance items in a timely manner. I trust the vet and her team with my cats. As for pricing- it is on the pricier side but if you can afford it I would come here.“

“After having my two cats for a long time at a particular vet (not Center Sinai) I was beginning to experience issues where after having a visit or running tests I could never get a vet or anyone to walk through with me the details of lab results that were not normal or other physical situations the cats were experiencing. Additionally the prices for every service seemed to be going sky high. Every solution to an issue was some expensive test or screening that were the price of a good used car. A friend of mine suggested Center Sinai and I brought my two cats there for an introductory general checkup, rerun lab results, xray one cat's hip etc. The vet was incredibly informative and took the time to walk through everything with me. The xray showed some arthritis and a shot was given that has vastly improved my cat's pain level and quality of life. A non-general anesthesia teeth cleaning was recommended for one of the cats which I never knew existed (my former vet would only do the anesthesia one which among other things stresses the pet and cost thousands of dollars). One cats abnormal lab results from the former vet were reviewed and deemed not alarming (the former vet assistant told me the vet considered them alarming and said a sonogram costing thousands would need to be done) re-ran the lab and everything was normal. I am extremely happy to have found a caring, fair and informative vet for my cats and am relieved to be done with a vet I felt I could no longer trust.“

We had the privilege & honor of having the hands & heart of Dr G care for beloved Abigail for many many years and years. Dr G is brilliant & his team is an extraordinary extension of his reflection. Throughout early routine appointments to most recently end of life care Dr G worked miracles at each visit and over night stay. Abigail's Journey at end of life; Dr G did everything possible to keep Abigail with us as long as possible, IV hydrations, IV meds, diet change, lab analysis, etc...keeping in mind quality of life for her. Dr G & his team never ever pressured, their genuine love for Abigail as if she was one of their pets will always be instilled as a pleasant experience as they gave assurances through diagnosis and prognosis in a manner that was not about cost it was always at the best interest of Abigail and her quality of life on this earth. “Moving from Florida to California I was very worried about finding a good veterinarian for my best friend Bentley. Ironically where I moved into, I found out that this establishment was not even a 5 minute walk from my place. I decided to check it out due to how clean and nicely designed the veterinary office was, but also for how close it was.<br><br>I had a strong feeling that Pacific Animal Clinic would be a great place, but after Bentley's visit, it's *definitely confirmed* that this is an amazing establishment! Everyone who works here are literal angels. From the moment we walked in, Bentley and I were treated with such care and compassion that I knew we were in the best hands.<br><br>What really blew me away was the attention to detail. They even sent me a detailed report of Bentley's visit, and get this—*they included this amazing picture of Bentley!* I AM LITERALLY SCREAMING LMAOOOOO! Thank you for not only making Bentley healthy but also for this amazing cinematic masterpiece that I will now print out and hang all around my house.<br><br>If you’re looking for a clinic where your fur baby will be loved and cared for like a member of the family, look no further. “Dr Roskopf is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. I brought my atelopus barbotini in last week, and he gave me antibiotics to put them on because we are unsure if the pet shop lied about them being wild caught or not. I appreciate everything him and his team did for me and my toads. I only give four stars because the appt was about a half hour late, and we arrived 15 min early. Like with humans, things happen with animals, and if my pet needed an extra half hour of care, I would hope the next patient would be compassionate- this doesn’t seem like a place that plans poorly. You can’t go inside, which bothers me and is why I give four stars, because I prefer to be with my animals when I take them anywhere. Frogs and toads are easily stressed, new environments being the thing that stresses them out most, people often strongly recommend against taking them to the vet, but Nick Stacy aka indicator species recommended I go given the circumstances- (he is the first hobbiest to successfully breed atelopus outside a lab) so the extra time in the deli cup probably wasn’t great. Their prices are very reasonable, but having to sit in my car in an uncovered parking space was a bit difficult, and I wasn’t able to turn off my car or the a/c would turn off, which wasted a lot of gas…<br><br>Unfortunately the toad passed away a few days later, and Dr. Roskopf called me back right away and suggested I get an necropsy done asap, in case it can help with the one toad I do still have.<br><br>Speaking of gas, bless the people that work at the auto repair next door ? the screaming bird sounds can’t be easy to work next door to lol (not a critique of the vet, just to end things on a light note)<br><br>Ps- please do not buy animals from pet stores, go to reputable breeders directly. There are so many people that will do anything to make a sale, coming across this Doctor was a nice reminder there are good humans out there that actually care.“

“I'm honestly shocked by the negative reviews. I've brought my dog here for the past 5 years since she was a puppy and always received good care. She's had two surgeries which I was super anxious about and all went well. In my experience the doctors have always been kind and listened to my concerns. I'm the person that will opt in for the additional testing when offered up because I want peace of mind. Yes, it's definitely pricey, but personally I will pay any amount to ensure my baby gets the best possible care when needed. I also appreciate that they've always been able to accommodate a next day appointment, sometimes even same day, which I know is not the case everywhere!“

“We came in for a second opinion and the dx was vastly different from the first vet. The first vet said that my cat needed flea medicine, dental scaling/extraction, X-ray, bloodwork, etc... over $1800. How do these shady vets sleep at night? CPAH vet examined her and gave his professional advice. He said her teeth were good and didn't try to upsell us on unnecessary x-rays and dental cleaning. They also accept CareCredit which is great! CPAH staff are so friendly and helpful. They even made her a pet ID card!“

“Dr Brooks and her staff are very caring, devoted and effective. My dog Mocha had a medical problem with confusing symptoms that VCA ER was not able to get to the bottom of unless we waited all night. I called Mar Vista Vet and they got him in very quickly and worked around my schedule, made sure to thoroughly rule out high acuity medical issues such as pancreatitis, and when my dog left we knew his symptoms where not related to anything other than his back aches. When Mocha left Mar Vista Vet he was happy and feeling better. Thank you Dr Brooks and Mar Vista Vet staff for being there for Mocha!“

“I will always be grateful for this animal hospital they saved 2 of my dogs. One of my dogs was hit by a car they took her in right away and literally brought her back to life. When I brought my second dog he is was puppy I had just bought from the previous owner I did not know he was sick the next day he passed out we rushed him to this hospital and they were able to revive him. I did not think my dogs were going to make it but the staff here were able to work miracles.“

“Beverly Pet Clinic, have been my go-to vet for years now, fast professional service, Dr. Woo have always been professional and compassionate to my dogs. To be honest - I struggle to understand some of the negative reviews - this is simply not the veterinarian my dogs and I know and love. Dr. Woo have routinely chosen the least stressful path of treatment. I can only guess that there are more to some of those stories than what is included in the reviews.“
