The ER runs inadequate. I saw 2 infants sick. One coughing, active . One red in the face with a fever, asleep . Triage called in coughing baby. Was seen immediately. The fever baby was in the waiting room close to two and a half hours. No one else was in the waiting room. No excuse why a baby wasn't seen immediately as the first one. Other hospitals in the past have taken in the severely Ill and children , especially infants first.
If I could give negative stars it would qualify. Nothing but patient abuse here. My husband waited 5 hours to be seen, then waited another 2 hours for a Ct scan. However, it wasn't until he got up and told the nurses to pull out the needle and he was leaving till they finally took him back for a scan. WTF?!! We have to be dramatic in order to be seen for a test or did they not want to lose that insurance CT money? Nothing but abuse here for all the patients I saw walking in these last 6 hours of my life that I will never get back. And the waiting room can only fit so many sick coughing people that they have you wait outside in The cold. I'm sorry but next time the Kaiser people protest for better wages, maybe they should consider treating patients better. And one more thing... is it sanitary to have a patient walking around or sitting in a waiting room with sick people with the needle in their arm? And a little kid peed in the main waiting room, it was an accident i understand it happens, but the receptionist doesn't even call a janitor to clean it and disinfect. It was just there for over an hour and still there when i left. Disgusting!!
I'm so disappointed that you have to schedule an appointment for mammogram and you will be told 20-30 minutes behind. The thing I hate about staff making false reassurance to their members. My appointment is at 2:30 pm. It's already 3:10 pm and I'm still waiting to be called. If you can't accommodate that too many patients in a day, do not book more than what you can do, especially if other patients have other appointments during the same day.
