How do I say this without sounding utterly stupid), but Olivia set me right at ease! I've had a few trial & error appointments over the last few years, and finally have found the perfect person! She is super approachable, and really listens; you can tell she truly loves what she does and she cares about her clients. I loved that she took time to really understand what I was saying, what I wanted, and specifically what would make me happy. I've had so many compliments about the color & cut. Nicely decorated, it's a large space with plenty of fresh air. Even when people get hair color it never smells.<br>Martin is an amazingly gifted hairdresser... He listens to what you want and how much styling you are willing to do yourself. His cuts are perfect, I love how he works with my wavy texture for minimal maintenance hair! “This review is long overdue. I found Rita's salon on yelp when I was looking for a blowout back in 2022. I loved it! Her salon is so private, I felt welcomed and comfortable. I decided to come back for a balayage and she absolutely killed it. She educated me on hair care which I deeply appreciated. Most of my experiences with hair salons is coming in with a photo inspo and coming out with a result that was similar but not exact. She's very transparent and breakdowns the outcome. I came back to her for all my phases and she's been so supportive and has exceeded my expectations every single time. I had an event to go to and since family pictures were going to be taken I needed help with hair and makeup. I was able to get an appointment with Rena. Well let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. It was better than I expected. Everyone complimented my makeup. Rena did an excellent job and I think she's very talented. The lashes were perfect and nothing she used bothered my skin nor eyes for the whole night. I was there for more than a couple hours because I have a lot of hair and the time flew right by. “Ilona has been my stylist for around 15 years now, first in the Bay Area and then after she moved to LA - with me flying her up to the Bay Area. Because Ilona is worth it. She's deeply intuitive, which is critical for a stylist because many of them don't listen. Ilona does, but not only does she listen she can translate what you want into the cut you end up with and this is a skill many stylists lack. This is one of the reasons I fly her to the Bay Area monthly, because when you find a stylist like her, you don't give them up. Ilona has traveled with me to music festivals overseas and cut hair on the edge of the Sahara and she's always turned out a superior product. As a diplomat I frequently have to engage in public speaking and she makes sure my hair always looks its best.“

“I hired Amy as my wedding artist, and it was one of the best decisions I've made for my wedding. Amy is great! She is easy to talk to and accommodated our different makeup requests for the bride, two moms, and bridesmaids.<br><br>Our ceremony was at noon, so the bridal makeup started at 6 a.m. Amy was very punctual and arrived at the venue at 5:50 a.m. to get everything set up.<br><br>Her technique in makeup and hairstyling is exceptional.
