My son is anxiety prone and had an unexpected panic attack kind of reaction the first time getting sealant put on to protect from cavities forming. As a result, this time when we had to come back to do it again Dr. Holden herself attended to him and made numerous adjustments to the process to help him tolerate it. She didn't make me feel like I was over dramatic and she took his situation seriously. I am beyond grateful to doctors like her who listen and accommodate. She's a top notch dentist from an expertise standpoint but she also understands kids/parents and has a great bedside manner. Best experience for our children. If your child has a sensory difficulties, this office has got you covered. As soon as you walk in the office, you get a calm feel. They were playing a disney movie, the sound wasn't on loud, which is great. The office wasn't too bright, another sensory benefit. They have a couple of aquariums which was so nice to distract and relax the kiddos. They also offer some video games. The dental hygienists were amazing. They took their time, as much time as needed, to gain the trust of their little patients. They offer a variety of flavors to clean teeth (even marshmallow-can you believe that?!). I mean this place is a real gem! Truly exceptional service. Kristy helped us and she was so kind and so patient with my 4 year old. I had been anxious about it and put off a first dental appt for a very long time. Dr Holden and her staff showed such care for my daughter. She left saying 'I love the dentist!' And is looking in the mirror at her 'strawberry sparkles' they cleaned her teeth with. 5 isn't enough stars they deserve so much more!
