DO NOT SCHEDULE WEDDING HAIR OR MAKEUP WITH THEM!Worst experience ever. Cortney scheduled a trial for my hair and makeup for my wedding about a month before the wedding, which she changed the time for the morning of the appointment. The day of my wedding, when she was supposed to be showing up at 10 am, I received an email at 9 am saying she was not coming. There was no offer of another provider, and my deposit has still not been returned. She is a brides worst nightmare, especially given I did not live in the area and had traveled hours to the wedding. I cannot warn you enough of the complete unprofessionalism of Cortney - do not hire her and find someone else!

After some reflection and seeing a similar review recently, I felt like I should share my experience of booking Courtney with Bombshell Beauty for my wedding. Courtney completely ghosted me on my wedding day. I got married on a Saturday and didn't hear from her until the following Tuesday. I was the only person getting hair and makeup done for my wedding so I had Courtney scheduled to come just 2 1/2 hours before the wedding. Let's just say, it was a mess. So much of my wedding day became about Courtney and trying to fix the situation. It's still painful for me to look at pictures from the wedding because my hair started falling down immediately. Courtney told me the following Tuesday that there had been a family emergency and she did refund me. However, Courtney had not been responding to my text messages the two weeks leading up to the wedding, though her assistant at the time kept confirming over email that she would be there. It was clear once she didn't show up that Courtney has a reputation of being unreliable and I wished someone had warned me in advance. My recommendation is do not put yourself in this mess. My wedding coordinator let me know that Courtney has now been banned from my wedding venue. If other hair/makeup vendors are booked, plan ahead and do your own hair and makeup.

If I could give negative stars, I would. She was supposed to do my hair, 2 other bridesmaids hair, and the bride's hair and makeup for the wedding. She cancelled the day of the wedding just 1 hour before she was scheduled to arrive. I was told by another vendor that she has done the same thing to some other brides on their wedding days as well. I understand that emergencies happen but she didn't even have a backup. She left myself, the other bridesmaids and most importantly the bride in one of the most stressful situations on her wedding day. Do yourself a favor and find someone more reliable.
