We did two 2-hour rides through the gorgeous, sage-scented McGee Canyon in the Sierra on well-cared-for, sure-footed, solid mules and horses with gentle dispositions and enthusiasm for their job. Carissa and Paula were upbeat, patient, knowledgeable and safety-conscious. Rides are perfectly suitable for all levels of riders. Can't wait to go again!

A Better Fireplace & Stove Company
I normally don’t leave reviews, but they went above and beyond.
Our outdoor fireplace was broken and we were having a party and really wanted to use our outdoor fireplace to entertain our guests. I called and explained the situation and they said they were booked for the week, but would try to get us in if they had a cancellation or some time freed up.
Sure enough a few days later, Shelby called and said they finished a job early and could come over later that day. Colin let me know when he was on his way and his time of arrival. He was able to fix the problem and on the way out he noticed the garage door was open and that something was blocking it from closing. He took the time to call me to double check that I wanted it open. I did not and really appreciated him taking the time to call and text to double check and locked up the garage for me.
Grateful for the follow up and protecting our home.

Mike does great and honest work. I took my car in for new engine mounts, and he let me supply my own parts to save a little bit of money. When he found a couple more semi-urgent problems, he called me, explained the issues in detail, and accurately estimated how much it would cost if he were to fix them then and there. I gave him the ok, and he was finished by the end of the day. When I came to pick it up, he showed me the old faulty parts, and all I can say is I’m very grateful that he offered to replace them. He charged a very fair price for the work he did, and I never had a doubt in my mind that he was doing good and thorough work.(which can’t be said for many mechanics I’ve gone to). The difference I felt in my engine on the drive home was night and day, and the money was well worth having a solid car that I can be confident in again.

Dr. Vevoda is by far the best chiropractor I have been to in over 20 years. With me being under the care of a chiropractor my whole life I have never met someone that is able to pinpoint my issues right away and know, just the right movement needed. From me throwing out my ribs to my hips, back or neck being out of alignment, she knows what is needed. And her neck adjustments are the best! She can get the neck to adjust with ease, is never forceful but able to move it with confidence. I have been an outdoor athlete most of my adult life and she repairs my body every time I beat it up. She also cares for all of her clients so much and if an emergency arises she goes above and beyond the call of duty to help them. Thank god for Dr. Vevoda. She deserves 6 stars!

The best. I have been getting massages in Mammoth Lakes for countless years, from many providers, and I can easily say Michelle is the best here. In fact, she is one of the best I've had anywhere. You can tell she loves her craft and is very in tune with the body and the client, making the process and result a great experience. The only downside is when the session is over.

Jamie is a wonderful masseuse! My neck was killing me! Honestly, I can't remember having such a awesome experience getting a massage. I woke up in pain sleeping on a really uncomfortable hotel bed. I googled online, and the website was easy, with online booking and availability. I was contacted quickly by Jamie after booking online, and her appointment was verified. I was given clear directions. When I arrived, she sat down with me and we talked about what I preferred and areas I wanted focus. I left there warm, relaxed and loosened. My wife and I purchased a spa from Mammoth Spa Creations. Or salesman and point of contact was Damon Conover. Damon was incredibly responsive and kept us informed throughout the entire process. He worked in conjunction with the city and the electrician we hired, (Greg Rathburn-High Altitude), who was equally as amazing as Damon. We also hired Damon to continue our monthly service. The spa was installed and working as designed on 12/14/23. I HIGHLY recommend Mammoth Spa Creations and especially Damon. Super nice man and they are lucky to have him represent their company.

Jesse is top notch. So professional, knowledgeable, reliable and trustworthy. We hired him to upgrade various electrical areas (light fixtures, outlets, tv installation, wiring, baseboard heaters, fans) in our Mammoth condo and as we live out of town we relied on his observations, judgement and site management. He exceeded all expectations and is a great communicator and very detail oriented. I could go on and on. We will call on him for ANY future work.

Our Nami was well taken care of, she has not stopped prancing. She is a nine year old husky and it was her first grooming appointment. I was nervous but there was no need to be. She has never been this clean (or white hah), so much shedding was reduced, and her little paws were trimmed to perfection. Thank you for taking such great care of my baby!
My senior cat was very sick and had a fever. They got her in that day getting her the antibiotics she needed. I was fearful she wasn’t going to make it last night but she pulled through and is getting much better this morning. Great vet listened to all our concerns, caring and experienced.
A plumber I can count on in Mammoth Lakes. Not a lot of plumbers to choose from in town but Higerd Plumbing has always been responsive and fair. Always my first call when I need a plumber!
This place is a bit hard to find as it's tucked in the back of the Snowcreek Athletic Club, but I enjoyed my treatment! Staff were friendly and helpful. I booked a hydrating rose facial with Ellie and my skin glowed for days after! I love that booking a spa treatment gets you access to the club's amenities (pool, gym, and jacuzzi) for the whole day. Overall, nice spa for its value!
I totally recommend Jenny Morris at Salon 437! After moving to Mammoth Lakes from the suburbs of Los Angeles about a year and a half ago, finding a new hairstylist was a nightmare for me. I'm super picky about my hair, and I had been going to the same stylist for 13 years—I never let anyone else touch my hair. So, you can imagine how tough it was for me to try someone new. But after a colleague (who always has an awesome haircut) recommended Jenny, I thought, why not? Booking online was super easy, and I showed up with a photo of how I like my haircut. Jenny worked her magic, and honestly, it turned out just how I wanted. I'm so relieved I found her! I'd give her a 10/10 any day!

Fantastic! Had a great time here. They have co-ed swimming and jacuzzi. There is an area to work out those muscles, dance room, yoga, showers with: shampoo, bodywash, lockers, lounge area, gift shop, sell equipment, and not sure about the rest of the place. I was there for only an hour. Great service, clean, friendly staff, and the locals are friendly. This is my second time here. Mammoth is awesome! Sorry, there are no photos.
