Have taken many Pilates classes through the years. This is definitely the best studio I have ever joined!! Sam and her teachers pay attention to one's physical problems and works around them. I am able to continue my workouts with all my shortcomings and leave happy! Thanks Sam!

My wife loves her sessions at Bulates, and especially her instructor, Kathleen Henry. The rates range from a First-Time introductory hour session of $59 to single private sessions ($90) and community groups ($50). They also offer a 10-pack deal for $850 (private) and $450 (community) which saves you a bit. The space is quiet, hidden in a small retail area along PCH north of Zuma, covered in trees. The studio is intimate, with several reformers, along with other equipment to help with balance, resistance and strengthening. The community sessions are limited to 3-4 people which still provides a lot of fixated, individual attention. The in/out can be a bit tricky, but plenty... read full review

I absolutely love this place. I'm updating my review from 2019 because after all these years I have learned so much and am stronger than ever! Thank you so much Kathleen Henry and Samantha.Prior to working out at Bulates, I did privates with an instructor who had a reformer at her house. I went religiously three times a week for years, never realizing that my positions were wrong, never really properly stretching and there wasn't the same attention to form. I still loved it and got a lot of benefit, but not like now.Not only are the instructors here extremely well trained, but they keep things interesting and new by changing it up constantly.
