Trust the low-star reviews. If you hire Jim, don't pay him upfront like he will request and be sure to get everything in writing.I made the mistake of paying Jim upfront for a portable generator tuneup, with him writing that he'd get it in "tip top shape" and provide parts and labor for the price I paid him. When I hired Jim, the generator would start, but it just would not run very evenly, which is what I wanted him to look into. This company is the worst and have scammed me out of $700 to "repair" my generator. They came out to my house, performed a tune-up of my generator but could not explain why the generator still would not power on. They took my battery and said they needed order a part and would come back to install. Two weeks later they have not come back and had an excuse that the part was "stolen" from their PO Box. Jim never calls and always has an excuse. I did make Jim sign a paper to explain the work he said he performed for $700 and had him sign it. This will be key in small claims court. Steer clear of this business.
