JAS interior designs is a true pleasure to work with. We have started our second project with Janine's expert consultation. You know you are pleased with someone's design when you ask them to design something else in your home. Janine is attentive, cost conscious and listens to what your vision is for your home. She also gently helped us add some touches we might not have done and the details make all the difference. Janine is incredibly responsive and we always were updated on the process of our design. Italian style, elegant design with rich tones and old-world charm. Oh, and you need to make it functional for families and children to relax and feel like they never left their home. After all, this is our Southern California community clubhouse, a place that families frequent for holiday fun, movie nights, baby showers, birthday parties and more! This is what we required of our space along with utilizing some of the existing elements, because after all, we had a tight budget and limited time. We also had to consider the legalities and sensitivities around multi-unit dwellings and special accommodations of our homeowners. Janine accepted the challenge. We gave her creative rights and the freedom to showcase her design skills. She worked with multiple vendors to bring us luxurious fabrics, custom copper inlays, luxury vinyl flooring, all in beautiful and warm Tuscany inspired colors. Janine's innate ability to see the vision of her client and bring it to life down to the smallest detail is unmatched. Every project has its ups and downs - materials don't come in on time, the cabinets are the wrong size, merchandize arrives damaged. All of these things set a project back, but Janine handled everything with professionalism and more importantly, compassion. She knew how important this project was to us. She literally put her heart and soul into it and did all of this remotely from Northern California. The results? Well, the pictures tell the story...from the unique mural of Tuscany on the wall as you walk into the foyer to the transitional farmhouse inspired kitchen, we couldn't be more pleased.
