Mixtape Athletics Yoga

“Sooooo... I drank the Crossfit Kool-aid. After years of watching my husband practice this crazy sport, I finally gave in.

I am not now, nor have I ever been a sporty person. I started coming to Mixtape for their yoga classes. Loved it. I then moved on to spin classes. Yes! I can do this. Now I'm doing the crazy WOD (Workout of the Day). I'm actually doing things in the gym I would have never thought I could do.

The coaches are without exception knowledgeable,
approachable, and encouraging. They modify and accomodate the workouts to your level of fitness. The facility is not like a typical chain gym, but it is clean and welcoming. But the NUMBER ONE REASON why I keep coming back is the sense of community that Coaches Sadie and Jason have fostered in their business. The inclusivity and comaraderie and overall lovefest I feel here are everything. Having a cruddy day at work? Come to the box. Relationship woes? Come to the box. Too many tamales? Come to the box. You'll sweat. You'll laugh. You'll feel better. Did I mention this is a dog-friendly spot? Seriosuly... come this box!!!“

“What a gift to get to work with Ksenia! I wanted to get re certified for level 1 and 2 again. I’m so glad I did. She was incredibly detailed in sharing her knowledge, the workbook, and how to give a full session. There was a lot of practical experience that I appreciated but also a big focus on following our intuition.I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to get certified for Reiki!“

[re+active] physical therapy & wellness Yoga

“Grateful for Re+Active PT - A Heartfelt Thanks Yesterday, Sam’s last official session at Re+Active PT was bittersweet. We are incredibly grateful for everything they've done for him. From the very first day we walked through their doors, they welcomed us like family. The team not only helped Sam manage his physical struggles but gave him back a sense of joy and confidence we hadn't seen in a long time. Sam even gave them a special thank-you gift: pens, keychains, and bookmarks he made, which he handed out to the staff. It was a beautiful moment to see their smiles in return, knowing he had a part in making their day. ? While this chapter of the 8-week program has officially ended, we’re not saying goodbye to Re+Active. We plan to continue visiting and, as we’re able, schedule additional sessions. They’ve been such an integral part of Sam’s journey, and we can’t wait to stay a part of their community. ?“

“Well this the first time I’ve ever done this and it was amazing. The way she was spot on with so many things in my life. I was really locked in with what she had to say. I didn’t tell her anything about me and the accuracy of the things that she was talking about was 87 to 93% accurate. I would definitely recommend trying this out if you’re interested and even if you’re not, you might be surprised I’ll definitely be back thanks a lot.“

Jack Tone L.M.T. Massage Therapy & Energetic Healing Yoga

“Magic is real and this man is a very very real wizard. I had my right leg lengthened eight times as a child and consequently have had chronic pain, peripheral neuropathy and compensation patterns that make it very difficult to concentrate, breathe, sleep, or plan beyond the next 3-5 days— without me needing to say any of that, Jack put hands directly onto the persistent thorn in my side, released it with what I can only describe as lasers coming out of his fingers, and then proceeded to put the rest of my bones back into place. My hips move, my eyeballs track, my heel is in contact with the ground. There are elements of massage and osteopathy but there’s something else that’s in a league of its own— it was so effective for me that I’m now making life moves to study it formally. You will not find this kind of healing easily anywhere else. Go see Jack, he will cure what ails you.“

He's definitely the best trainer I've ever had, by far. I would not be where I am currently with my fitness goals without his guidance. I've been training with him for over six months. I plan to continue training under him in the long term.“

One Down Dog Yoga

“Everyone is welcoming and positive! I like the Chill classes when I want a more meditative stretch, I like the Flow classes for a more upbeat flow, and I love/hate the Sweat classes, for when I want my a** kicked. I am a guy and new to yoga, both of which had me worried I'd feel out of place. But I don't, and never have. They had a good deal for my signing up before the end of January, too! The interior design is simple, but with good lighting and some plants here and there. The vaulted ceiling with wooden rafters is pleasant to look at when I'm reaching up for Triangle Pose. ODD is cozy in every way, and I love it. It's only a matter of time before I start crying when we're all lying silent on our mats during a cooldown. I'm grateful I get to take classes here.“

Evolution Physical Therapy - Playa Vista Yoga

“I am so pleased with the quality of the therapists at Evolution in Playa Vista. Their knowledge of how to help clients get the best results is wonderful. However management/owners do not keep the facility clean. To expect the professional staff to do the cleaning is really out of line and shows a certain lack of respect for their employees. That's what cleaning companies are for Would management/owners be willing to clean themselves?“
