It's always nice to be out of town and need a service and randomly look up and find a local place nearby. I under packed and my choices were to go shopping or go to the laundry service. I chose the ladder and walked in. I was the sole customer and I talked to the owner like we were old friends. She said Thursday and I saud I will be stinky by Tuesday. She said come back by by closing time on Tuesday. We both Laughed and i thanked her. My clothes wer folded and wrapped and she called me by my name; I was grateful and I'm sure everyone around was equally grateful. I miss places like that. If you're near by, do support her shop she did an amazing job.
Fantastic laundry especially for men’s shirts and bed linens.I bring our sheets and duvet in so that the bed feels crisp for the full week. It is impossible to get fabric pressed like this at home.The owners are lovely and the place is pristine. I also leave my dry cleaning here. It takes a couple of days and it’s absolutely worth it.The prices are completely reasonable. The same you’d end up with at any dry cleaner.
How rare to find an old-fashioned Chinese shirt launderer! I live in the New York metropolitan area half the year and they're nowhere to be found any more. Here my shirts are cleaned well and perfectly folded flat (held together with the traditional paper "belt") which is so convenient for stacking on my shelves and for packing. The classic brown-paper wrapping is folded a little too loosely for tossing the package confidently onto the back seat of the car, but it will do. Beware that the open hours are sometimes shorter than advertised. What a find!
