A landmark old school Black barbershop. We've been getting our hair cut by Lawrence Tolliver for now 3 generations. Tolliver's stakeholder establishment where at any time you'll see local residents, politicians, the Chief of Police, hustlers, and gang affiliated and other from all walks of life come together in harmony just to hang out and talk while getting a haircut. I even recall back in my youth walking in to find Rosa Parks getting her foot rubbed. It's all about community at Tolliver's.

I'm really pleased with the shave and beard trim. The person conducting the service double-checked everything. He started shaving my hair and then kept looking at my beard, trying to make adjustments to make it better. His meticulous attention to detail was appreciated. He does not make you feel tense in any way. I'm really satisfied with the service!!
